  1. I have noticed he uses all these guys coming and going at this time of year to get a good group of players to start his PS slots.
  2. All the sites still have him at the 307 mark. Don't know anything more than that.
  3. This is just more proof that Brandon Beane is on top of all things concerning the roster. He keeps showing he has Plan A, B and C options going at all times.
  4. I'm starting to lean that the only way Butler stays is if Harry goes to IR. I want to see if Basham takes more snaps at DT in the GB game too.
  5. We will have to see if that is true or not. One possibility is McKenzie being sidelined for the start of the season but some of these new guys who can KR/PR and play some WR can be put on the PS and elevated to the 53 for the week.
  6. Just need Kumerow catching a few touchdowns. Hope they got a camera on Aaron when that happens.
  7. I think Beane and his boys can figure this out and somehow come ahead.
  8. 'member when JAX was going to be a perennial powerhouse team back in 2017. That "obviously" didn't happen.
  9. I agree. Please read my post above yours and "like" it if you want. It's the only way I know of a compromise.
  10. My only interest in all of this is which players are going to be subject to any restrictions and when they are coming off restriction. I'm kind of hoping that info could be put into the locked/pinned Covid Thread. I know the mods would have to do that and I'm not sure they want to. @SDS I just think having a running (normally locked) thread with this info would be helpful to most of us. The rest I can live without.
  11. First step for all these guys is the waiver process tomorrow. Then they all become FAs hoping to get their agents to find them a home on a teams 53. If Adams (and the other Bills cuts) get this far I'm sure most would want to get signed by the Bills PS. The only exceptions would be guys signing on other PSs which are weak in their position on the 53. Last few seasons a whole bunch of the Bills cuts went right onto the PS. I'm hoping that happens again this year!
  12. Giles-Harris and/or Adams on the PS would look pretty good. Giles-Harris has looked pretty good.
  13. LOL. Hart is being kept because he will be playing the entire 2nd half (or more) of Saturdays game. He is cannon fodder.
  14. I agree. My point was he is a worthwhile RB when he needs to be in an emergency situation.
  15. Edit to adjust to the "Duke" news.
  16. Right. The injury seems pretty slight but it probably means no one picks him up on waivers and he is free to look for a team as a FA once he clears. Lets the rest of the WRs know who are looking at being cut that they have a better chance at PS too. Win win and a good move by all.
  17. That will be the question. If he gets a starter or at least a bridge contract he will take it no doubt. If he doesn't and is only offered backup positions he may re-sign with Buffalo. To be answered next March.
  18. Like I said I think Beane likes to rotate these kind of guys in and out to see who he ends up giving PS spots to. This could be even more important with teams looking at Bills players more closely.
  19. Kerrith Whyte Florida Atlantic Owls 5-foot-10, 197 pounds. Who is he? Teammate and backfield partner Devin “Motor” Singletary (who was drafted 74th overall by the Buffalo Bills) earned all of the attention in recent years, but Whyte emerged as one of Conference USA’s most dynamic running backs last season. The former Seminole Ridge star ran for a career-high 866 yards and eight touchdowns on only 134 carries (6.5 yards per rush) and added 160 receiving yards through the air. Whyte surprised many by declaring after his redshirt junior season, though he raised his draft stock with an excellent Pro Day performance. Whyte’s 4.36 40-yard dash time was better than any time posted by a running back at the NFL Scouting Combine. Beane does this every year. Whyte is the kind of guy that comes out of nowhere and ends up on the PS.
  20. Kerrith Whyte was a RB teammate of Devin Singletary. Kerrith Whyte Florida Atlantic Owls 5-foot-10, 197 pounds. Who is he? 21. Well that news does make it a bit more possible. If not for a backup certainly might be worth a 2023 6th conditional for Fromm to be a 3rd string development guy. They get him on a cheap rookie contract (especially after Bills eats his bonus money). Beane on the other hand saves a pretty good chunk of dead cap (600k). If Fromm is cut he will maybe get picked up on waivers BUT he will be a FA if he clears and may sign with ATL anyway if they wanted him. If Beane cuts him he got to guess he won't end up on the Bills PS. LOL, if I was Beane I'd have one of my guys make a call.
  22. IF and it's a big IF Beane is thinking of something like this he would need to do it soon. One advantage of a trade like this is for ATL to get a guy in as soon as possible. If they wait they can pick him up on waivers (they are 4th in line) behind the Jags, Jets and Texans.
  23. Just want to remind everyone that Beane has already stole a 7th round pick from Atlanta for the Lee Smith trade earlier this year. Maybe they give that back and get their 6th? LOL.
  24. I think the Josh Hollister connection would put any trust issues aside. If Breida didn't want to do it there will be a lot of other RBs tripping over themselves to come to Buffalo after cutdown day. The guys doing this always get a bump in pay and some more guaranteed money.
  25. Pretty darn close from Parrino IMO. I see Sweeney and Phillips to start the season on IR. That adds Zimmer and Wildgoose. Hollister and Breida do the "handshake" cuts and re-sign the next day. Only for the Jones being a lock group. If that happens then Breida is cut (hopefully no one picks him up and he signs on PS) and Jones takes the cut and re-signs the next day.
