  1. Nicely done.
  2. Let me mix a drink and get some munchies.
  3. I was looking at that today when the re-sign player thread came up. I don't think it will be Post June 1st. It would be $17.5M but Beane can't spend it until June. I think he's cut in March and frees up $8.4M and off the books with no dead cap in 2026.
  4. One game week. I'm saying after the 49ers not before.
  5. Maybe I'm wrong but I see it totally opposite. Milano has been gone for so long and he is coming back from the injury faster than expected that they will have him use the entire 21 days before activating him to the 53.
  6. For sure the interception was because Knox stopped. I did notice during the replay that Knox was cut off and couldn't get around the defender. It was just one of those things that happens in football.
  7. Agree. What I meant is when Josh signed that longer than normal contract it pushed out his next one the corresponding number of years. He extends during 2026 or in the beginning of 2027 IMO. Won't cost big money until 2028. That helps Beane a lot in my book.
  8. Groot gets signed. My comments on the DL were explained above. I just don't know what moves still need to be made. Diggs dead savings is already spent. After the expected cap increase Beane has $10M in cap plus $8M more after cutting Miller. He still is tight to the cap with only 40 signed in 2025. https://www.spotrac.com/nfl/buffalo-bills/cap/_/year/2025/sort/cap_total Allen is honoring his contract. He is not going to force Beane in renegotiations IMO.
  9. Great post explaining how this OL got to where it is. Currently no need to invest more but keep looking for some more of these late 3rd day picks and UDFAs. It just may get Beane in a position to trade a depth guy away for a mid-rounder.
  10. I see a 1st or 2nd round on DL. Not sure the future with Jones. He seems to be dropping off fast. I don't say it's a problem, just not as clear cut as most other positions. Groot probably is signed long term in the off season.
  11. If they believe in the long-term worth of Van Demark and Anderson, they both will be re-signed on their ERFA contracts. One-year at vet minimums and then RFAs. That sets up the OL as the same as this year, like you said. That's huge! In 2026 they probably let Edwards go as an UFA (who could bring a decent comp) and decide on McGovern's future at Center. It's all looking pretty darn good. The run game suffered with him gone.
  12. By the time Shakir's money kicks in Curtis Samuel is off the books. Perfect timing with the WRs. Same hold true with Bernard and Milano. Benford just gets signed. Beane is staggering these contracts after the "purge" pretty good. The position groups all look good with the exception of DL. Not sure how that is going to look after 2025.
  13. He has been unlucky with injuries for a lot of his career. The Bills gave him every opportunity and he tried hard. It just never came together for him here.
  14. Once he is fully up to speed, I expect we will.
  15. I'm pretty sure that Milano's 21-day window ends on December 4. I don't see him activated until after the 49ers game. That gives him a couple of weeks to get his sea-legs as a backup for the Rams/Lions. I'm expecting him to start by the first NE game, but maybe if all goes well, he plays a lot of the Lions game at the earliest.
  16. It may sound funny to some, but if Samuel indeed has recovered from his turf toe and begins to really contribute, it will be hard to find snaps/targets for the top 5 WRs if all play healthy for once. Nice problem for Brady and Allen to have.
  17. Correct me if I'm wrong but it seems to me that Spencer Brown is the only true RT on the team. All the other depth guys "seem" to be better at LT. Grable, Van Demark and Gouraige. Right now, it seems that Van Demark is inheriting the RT2 position. It helps that Ryan is an ERFA next season. Things look pretty good for next few years at the OT positions!
  18. One of the Broncos, Colts or Dolphins will most likely take the 7th spot. Colts can easily win 9 games with their schedule. They would have a better conference record. Bengals currently are 2-5 in the AFC.
  19. A week of rest and the 49ers at home is all that matters right now.
  20. Chiefs also have games against the Steelers and Texans.
  21. This thread would be simpler is it was a list on "untouchable" players in the entire league. There are not that many of them. IMO.
