  1. Well at least it was an entertaining game. Coming down to kick(s).
  2. Browns need to stop the stupid penalties.
  3. Steelers still have to play the Bengals (2), Ravens and Chiefs, all teams I want the Steelers to win. This game they can lose.
  4. Is this thing on?
  5. 20 of 42 for 239 yards, 2 TDs, 1 Fumble, 2 INT on targets. I liked Davis but this is who he is.
  6. you thought taking this picture was...........................
  7. Exactly. Every week from now on brings on all kinds of new scenarios. General Comment: Can the NFL please get rid of the "only one team gets a bye" system. Either go back to 6 playoff teams or just make it a tournament and go to 8 teams. It's foolish with the 1 team gets a bye.
  8. Very good points. It's songs that have been so misinterpreted. Most people don't care at all and use it for opposite reasoning. I don't understand totally what makes Mr. Brightside a stadium song, but it doesn't bother me at all. It seems to me people only see their point of view which many times makes no sense at all. I have friends saying I need go to church more but still sing "Hell's Bells" when it's on the radio, like they did when they were 18. LOL. People are strange.................. as the song goes. Oops, maybe that doesn't fit.
  9. That's my whole point. I also agree about how teams "try" to bring a young QB around. This mostly happens to only a handful of higher drafted college QBs. The success rate for that is very small. There is a limited amount of NFL games and too many QBs to evaluate sufficiently. I'm not criticizing anyone; it's just a fact in today's NFL. Not one team in the NFL was going to give a 6th round pick Tom Brady a year to see "what he can do". I'll go a step further and say if Bledsoe got injured in Brady's rookie season he may not have succeeded. It was all dumb luck. The top 2 QBs in the 2000 draft was Chad Pennington and Giovanni Carmazzi.
  10. Of course, but time is only given to a few QBs every year, typically only the top draft picks. Most do not succeed. The Tannehill's also have varying degrees of skills. Goff was considered the same. Same goes for Tua. It's only by dumb luck that guys like Brady, Warner, Purdy and others are given the chance to show what they can do. At least that's how I see it.
  11. I agree with you, but at least I remembered I had Mongolian Beef.
  12. With all the talent, both physical and mental that a "better than average" QB needs to possess, it's crazy that so much more is needed for them to succeed. Then, on top of that, a QB has to show signs of being able to do it in a "franchise QB" role almost immediately upon entering the league. For the vast majority of young QBs, they need a decent amount of proper training/playing time in the NFL to see if they have "it" or not. The way teams are pushed towards immediate success, these young QBs seldom get the time. It is a classic "Catch 22".
  13. Steve Wisniewski was an iron man at LG for the Raiders for his entire 13-year career.
