  1. Looks like Sunday is Jordan Love's debutante ball. I hope he tears it up against that weak KC defense.
  2. There was other talk besides PFF about his diminished play. I meant he was benched from starting this year. Bottom line: IF the Bills traded Sweeney for him I wouldn't think it fixed the OL.
  3. I'm just going by the talk earlier in the year in a thread about the KC OL. His game fell apart in 2019 and here is a tweet about it. PFF KC Chiefs @PFF_Chiefs #Chiefs G Laurent Duvernay-Tardif is coming off the worst season of his career, despite playing 1,000+ snaps for the first time. • 59.7 Overall (Career Low) • 54.3 Run Block (Career Low) • 27 Pressures (Career Worst) • 5 Sacks + Hits (Career Worst)
  4. He was so bad at OG in 2019 he was benched. "quality starting level" is a bit debatable but yes it was an OG now traded at deadline.
  5. Oh boy yes. Except for us old timers in Buffalo it was the Century and Brand Names catalogs.
  6. I just looked up the last 5 years in Spotrac. Not 1 starting OL was involved in a trade up to a week before deadline. It's all in fans minds about trades at the deadline. Here are the facts. Can select the years to see the trades. https://www.spotrac.com/nfl/transactions/2021/trade/
  7. Um there are 32 teams in the NFL and there has been 2 trades worth mentioning. Rams get a 1/2 year rental pass rusher. Chiefs get a 1/2 year rental pass rusher. Both of them over 32 years old.
  8. Those are void years. He would be an UFA in 2023. https://www.spotrac.com/nfl/philadelphia-eagles/fletcher-cox-9822/
  9. Bills would have a real hard time taking on his contract BUT Wes Schweitzer is a completely different story.
  10. Correct. Cox to the Bills is a bit intriguing. He potentially could fill in as the "old vet" next year when everyone else leaves. The issue is the $16M salary next year but if he agreed to a restructure with a small cut in pay that hit could go way down.
  11. $16.1M salary (non guaranteed) and a $1M Workout Bonus.
  12. Josh ending always with a "Go Bills".
  13. Beane is not sitting around doing nothing. He also knows that OG is the only true position of need for the rest of the season. If anything happens it will be for an OG. Just got to wait to see if he can work something out with some GM.
  14. Signing him to the PS is a smart move. He may not even be in football shape. I doubt he will be ready for the Rams game Sunday if at all. AP is pushing 37 years old. Last year by the end of the season he was not even starting for the Lions. His largest impact could be pass blocking and some screens for the Titans.
  15. The Pats* are playing good football right now. They are a divisional rival and until they are eliminated from a chance to win the division title I will want them to lose. How can a Bills fan feel anything other than that?
  16. I don't think that Denver knows what they are going to do about the QB position. We shall see next year.
  17. Everyone that knows anything about these fractures knows it's all up in the air how fast they heal. All teams worry about a QB injury but the Titans have put all their eggs in the Henry basket. Going to be interesting how they scheme their offense going forward.
  18. If no moves are made by tomorrow then I'm all for going big next year in the draft/FA to fix the OL the right way. I'm firmly in the camp that with a good OL Josh Allen makes even average WRs/TEs succeed. He just needs a little more time to throw and the backs need better blocking.
  19. I guess there are different levels of "all in" but the Rams are pretty much the poster child for that again this year. It's a constant debate on the board about whether the Bills should be doing the same thing. I have a hard time knowing what is right myself but tend to be more conservative. One move I could agree with if it happened by tomorrow is for an OG. I don't think it's worth it for a WR, TE or CB this year.
  20. Yes his cap hit for the Rams is for paying him $700k. He is a UFA next year. Bronco's eat a total of $23M cap hit and paid him a little over $17M cash this year. The rest of the cap was restructure money.
  21. Rams pay $700k for him this year. He is a UFA next year.
  22. I bet Von was a "bit surprised" in the trade. I guess I am too. So as I see it the Bronco's in essence pay Miller for a season (and evidently were not going to re-sign him) for a 2nd and 3rd no doubt for a QB draft move. We will have to see if that move is worth it but it probably is good for them. Rams get a "free" aging star OLB on a half-year-rental for a 2nd and 3rd who they may not have the money to re-sign next year. I'm not sure if this is the move that puts them over this year. I wouldn't like the move if I was a Ram's fan but that is just me. I guess the Rams do save a lot of money not having to pay a college scouting staff for the next 2 years! LOL. Rams 2022 picks: 3,5,7,7. Rams 2023 picks: 2,3,5,6,6,7.
