Jon Gruden suing the NFL, Roger Goodell
ColoradoBills replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall
The NFL legal team no doubt looked at the possibilities of what Gruden may or may not do after the emails would be released. This filing I'm sure is no surprise to them. -
I don't think Meyer is doing anything "special". This D will work against the Bills especially when the OL keeps JA in duress. You also can beat this by having a productive running game which draws in the LBs and SS. Once again, the OL (and RBs) not producing negates that answer. A TE threat in the soft middle also created issues with this D. Bills have one TE and he was out. I'm very curious how the O attacks the Jets D this Sunday. As for the last Miami game we all just seen last night they can field a pretty good D. It's a constant game of chess and it's Daboll and Josh Allen's move.

Another "it's not all one or the other" point to me. The OL is playing bad but I do think the offense in general thought it could win easily anyway. They (the offense) will need to take this issue seriously and work around it to score enough points again. The D on the other hand has been bringing it every game. I see no slacking from them at all.

I will venture to say that no matter how AJ Klien plays on Sunday it will generate at least 3 Edmund threads next week. Good news about Taron being back fully and it looks like we will see some of Matt at RB.

Oh Sammy...I don't miss you. Pathetic effort here.

Bills used 2 1st round and 1 4th round picks to draft him. I would put his total worth as the one 4th rounder. -
That's the fact Jack. Problem is most fans don't want to believe it. I never predict season records or scores of individual games. It seems to me that all it does is cause fans to twist themselves to prove some sort of a point that should never have been made in the first place. Yes, just enjoy the games as they happen and go from there.

I'm sure he is better than Jacob Capra who is the G on the Bills PS. -

Probably has more to offer than Jacob Capra. -
Not to be confused with biting players kneecaps.

Patriots release OLman James Ferentz

Well he has had over 500 snaps with the Pats* so I would think he may be a bit more valuable signing him to the PS than lets say a guy like Austin Proehl. Only 1 penalty in all those snaps. -
It makes sense too that when opposing Ds don't fear the outside of the tackle runs the DEs/OLBs can forget about their contain roles and tee off more on pass rushes. Yes something has to be attempted to repair this as best as possible.
-
That may be true but a variety of running back skills may lessen the issues. It's mid season and it seems to me you can't just give up the running game.
-
I agree he should dress and get another shot. 4 snaps in the Pittsburgh game is not enough for an evaluation IMO. The whole situation will have to wait for next season but you got to try to use what you have this season. If he is worthless (as some here suggest) then move on from him and elevate Antonio Williams. Beane, McDermott and Daboll have to attempt a fix because the status quo is not working and it's giving teams a good starting point to game plan against.

Well it seems to me that this may not be a "one or the other" situation when it comes to the offense. The OL is playing poorly. That's a fact. Talent, coaching and play calling all factor in. The RBs are playing poorly. Sure the OL is a big factor in that be not the only one. Both Singletary and Moss cannot get to the edge. That's a fact and makes run defense much easier for teams. The Bills running game is totally one dimensional. I'll repeat my views that I would like to see. 3 RBs dress for every game. I want a speedy back, a big power back and an all around back. The weekly opponent determines who gets the most snaps that week.

Sundays loss to JAX was BAD, really BAD. Every team can drop a game during the season to a basement team so I will let it go. The bad thing is the timing which has now brought the Pats* a half game behind in the Division. The offense has to work through it's issues and they need to show that this Sunday.

Yes and you don't count wins until you win them. That's for players and fans. -

Well a few first downs and the Titans are 7-2. This Sunday is not a good one. -
