Shaq Lawson possibly returning to Buffalo
ColoradoBills replied to FireChans's topic in The Stadium Wall
From the Cambridge dictionary. prodigal son noun [ C usually singular ] a man or boy who has left his family in order to do something that the family disapprove of and has now returned home feeling sorry for what he has done: figurative: The prodigal son has returned to the team after a three-year absence. -
LOL, why Scott, why do you always have to do this? Just to even things out, Foxborough weather the next 2 days is in the 40s. Now if BB flew them to Qaanaaq (Thule) Greenland you might just have something here. FYI, I'm sure there are plenty of seats available on the Patriots bandwagon with many upgrades coming soon.

Bears and Dolphins request interview with Brian Daboll
ColoradoBills replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall
A little off topic but I just looked to see what the Chicago Bears situation is. It's not very inviting. Draft Picks for 2022: 2, 3, 5, 5, 6. Players under contract for 2022: 27 (Including Foles) Current Cap Space: $43M (With 27 signed that's 24 more to get to 51) Kalil Mack with a #30M cap hit (possibly looking to be traded) Darnell Mooney is the only WR currently on the team. With not many picks or money and Fields as your QB it might be wise to just bulldoze the whole thing next season. -
Bears and Dolphins request interview with Brian Daboll
ColoradoBills replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall
If McDermott hires from in-house Butler and or course Dorsey seem to be the guys. That being said Sean McDermott is meticulous and detail oriented in everything he does. I'm sure he has "notes" on who might be available for the OC/DC positions. With all the HC openings there will be a churning at these positions too. -

Anyone else worried about daboll heading into the playoffs?
ColoradoBills replied to Steptide's topic in The Stadium Wall
So true. As to @Steptidequestion. Personally, I only start to worry at the time of the kickoff and I don't stop until the end of the game. That's enough for me. -
Calling it now: Devin will be a 1000 yard back this year
ColoradoBills replied to Alphadawg7's topic in The Stadium Wall
Here's to hoping he plays that well in the next 4 playoff games!!!! -
No. It's not just a team option. He already got paid the money and will become an UFA to start the year. These type of "void years" are just a financial tool used by teams. https://www.hogshaven.com/2021/4/12/22379019/how-do-voidable-year-contracts-work-and-why-has-the-nfl-embraced-them-this-year Quote from article: So, what are voidable years? A voidable year is an ‘extra’ year on the length of the contract that the team and the player intend to void. In other words, it is a “dummy” year on the contract that the player will never play or get paid for, and it exists for the sole purpose of lowering the annual cap hit, especially in the first year of the contract. As mentioned above, this type of contract is nothing new, though most teams use them sparingly, if at all.

Bears request permission to interview Frazier
ColoradoBills replied to Process's topic in The Stadium Wall
I do too but the Super Bowl is Feb 13th and the Scouting Combine starts Mar 1st so I can see the other side's point. -
For Addison to play with the Bills next year he would have to sign a new contract.
-
Agree but the Bills have Rousseau, Epenesa and Basham as the only DEs signed so far for next year. Lawson might have a role to fill.
-
Once again, I was just talking about this Saturday's weather forecast for the Bengals game. Cold and snowy.
-
I totally agree but like I said I think he is all in next year to go for the Division. It's going to be all about Mac Jones' play. Nobody can convince me that he is not regretting moving on from Brady. He might of thought he did the right thing last year but after TBs play this year.............it's got to be eating him alive.
-
I know I've been there but I'm talking about Saturdays forecast for their home game.

Haack played college in Arizona and then in Miami. He needs to be outside this week during practice. I have to seriously think that he will face some real competition in camp next year.

It's winter and it's going to be snowy and cold in Cincinnati too. Wind is the issue and so far that looks OK.
