  1. Yes and I think he will push money out to put the best players he can get around him. Making trades and using some future picks too. It's just my opinion. He went nuts in FA this year (something he never has really done before) and he will again this coming year I believe.
  2. I agree. Brady having his best season ever this year has to eating him up. That's why I think he goes all in and mortgages the future for one (2 seasons) more try.
  3. I'm thinking he retires at halftime of Saturday's game. If that doesn't happen, I think he is all in with money and future picks for one more try next season.
  4. Cheektorado is my Sabres Space name!
  5. They just wanted to confuse a poor Polish boy from Cheektowaga.
  6. I'm sure you are right after reading it your way. Thanks Dawk!
  7. Oh is that what it means. I read it as the Texans have to keep him hired for 2 years. I guess "employer club" means the Ravens, right?
  8. I'm not sure if the Ravens get the 2nd Compensatory pick. I read this when we were talking about Frazier maybe getting a HC spot. https://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/2021/01/14/nfl-compensatory-picks-for-minority-coaches-and-executives-explained/ (ii) The employer-club shall be eligible to receive this Draft choice compensation if: a. The minority employee hired as a Head Coach or Primary Football Executive has been employed by the employer-club for a minimum of two full seasons; and b. The minority employee is not the Head Coach or Primary Football Executive of the employer-club and is hired into the same position with the new club. There can be no break in employment between clubs.
  9. Tip of the hat for all you Bills fans attending Saturday's game!!!! I'm seriously thinking that an AFCCG against the Bengals is in the cards. I see all the AFC home teams winning this week and the Bills and Bengals winning the following week. If that becomes the case I'm flying in for the game and staying through the Super Bowl for the parade. Go Bills!
  10. I have to believe the pure statistics from PFF. Basham has put up some really good numbers in just 200 snaps. FWIW he stat line of sacks, tackles, pressures, TFL is the same as Jerry Hughes' while Jerry has had over 550 snaps. I find it promising.
  11. True that the futures contract is one way but a player has to be "on the team" already to sign a futures contract. Edit: No I guess he doesn't. It's a very exceptional situation if this is what's happening. I truly believe they want Shaq Lawson on the team and that he wants to be on the team. If this happens we should hear about it by Monday.
  12. I know and that's why I mentioned it. If Beane wants to sign Shaq for the next year or two it may come down to some sort of a "gentlemen's agreement" being the Bills only have $665k right now which wouldn't be much in a signing bonus. Playoff game checks are done by the league so this is all pretty weird to me. Wouldn't be surprised if some financial gymnastic are being looked at. https://www.si.com/nfl/2019/01/05/how-much-do-nfl-players-make-during-playoffs-postseason-payout Once NFL player contracts become irrelevant, here are the per-player payouts this year, per the CBA. Wild Card Round—Division Winner: $29,000 Wild Card Team: $27,000 Divisional Round: $29,000 Conference Championship: $54,000 Super Bowl Winner: $118,000 Super Bowl Loser: $59,000
  13. I was thinking the same thing. Signing someone to a multi-year contract at this time of the year is not common and the talks could be taking a few more days especially with the Bills tight against the cap at this moment.
  14. 2017 was an exceptional year for him. The Eagles fielded a great team that year. Let's all remember the team was so good that when Wentz got injured Foles took over and played great too and won the SB.
  15. Dion is getting strong at the right time. The OL is getting together at the right time. Shove it down the Pats* throats Saturday!
  16. While the Chiefs are highly favored let's not forget they were a fumble away from losing to Denver last week.
  17. A second phone to throw.
  18. No need to worry about that. At Absolute Zero all movement stops!
  19. He also grew up in Florida. I know fans will site the 1st meeting in Buffalo but this time around the Bills will start out stacking the line and making Jones have to pass.
  20. While the "Final" weather forecast isn't in yet it seems we are fast approaching Absolute Zero.
  21. They already got $8,467 in donations which is more than enough to replace their tailgating stuff. The extra is going to the Patricia Allen Fund. Well done Bills Mafia! https://www.gofundme.com/f/help-rebuild-bills-elvis-and-tonys-tailgate
  22. Well in a perfect world Haack would stop shanking punts and not get anymore blocked but the world isn't perfect. It seems to me you got to bring in some good competition for training camp next year. It's the playoffs and I don't see any changes coming soon.
  23. Agree. Playoff games can go either way but in general the Bills are a superior team.
  24. Probably spot on. Spotrac has at 5 years/$67M ($13.3M per) Milano signed for $10.3M and I'm speculating that Edmunds signs for $12.3M per on a 4 year deal.
