  1. I'm a little befuddled myself but........... First, Spotrac just uses past signing and "their" interpretation of a players skill. They are as close "in total" as any other site. Second, maybe Wallace didn't want to stay in Buffalo. Third, it could be that Beane and Company have a lot of rookies they are interested in that fit the system better for less $s. We all will have to wait to see what happens. It also could be that they have multiple CBs they feel they can draft by the 2nd round.
  2. I think there could be something to that. Anyway, it seems to me that after all the rookie "visits" that has happened Beane feels he has a couple of good draftable players.
  3. Which makes my point. Brieda was inactive all the time. Motor and McKissic will be active every game purely as RBs and the Bills need to combine the RB3 with ST skills.
  4. Looking at what his usage was in WAS last 2 seasons J.D. has half the total offensive snaps. I'm going to guess with his cost that he splits time pretty even with Motor. RB3 is going to need to be a ST player so I see Moss having a hard time making the cuts.
  5. If the Bills signed Chandler Jones and played him at DT........................that would be bad.
  6. No, he's a minimum salary guy. Don't know about the status of his knee injury either.
  7. I still believe one way or another that Star will be gone before the season starts.
  8. Working alongside Jonathan Allen, Daron Payne and Matt Ioannidis, Settle has never played more than 364 defensive snaps in a season. However, he has shown enough in that limited role to be an intriguing offseason acquisition who could take on more snaps, earning PFF pass rushing grades above 70.0 in each of the past two years. Buffalo could be in need of some additions to its interior defensive line, depending on what happens with Harrison Phillips in free agency. At worst, Settle would be a relatively cheap depth piece with some upside. https://buffalowdown.com/2022/03/13/pff-picks-perfect-free-agent-match-buffalo-bills-offseason/
  9. He will be an UFA next year so if he isn't a starter in Buffalo he will want to go somewhere that he has a good chance to be one. Bills need to find his replacement as a multiple backup this year and let him concentrate at RG. IMO
  10. If my memory is correct isn't Bates the only backup C the Bills have? If he is a serious contender for a starting RG position, I would think another backup C/G player is needed.
  11. Richie Incognito was 34 years old when he left Buffalo. Thought I'd just throw that into the mix.
  12. The draft pick (which will be around a 3rd rounder IMO) will get some reps but I think Saffold will start all year. The thing is with his Kromer connection he will be able to move position if needed. If that unfortunately happens the kid will get more. I was thinking $8M but he will be in a good position if he is playing well and fitting in to possibly go another year.
  13. I actually thought it would be a higher tender. Be awesome if the $2.5M holds.
  14. Let's hope they overpay. Good luck Mitch (except when playing the Bills).
  15. Another good contract. Congrats to both sides. FWIW Mitch now is the 10th highest AAV $s Center.
  16. Well done Brandon Beane. Good contract both ways. I'm hoping it's a breakout year for McKenzie as a SWR.
  17. It is truly amazing.
  18. Yes to Kyle Allen as backup. Then bring in a camp arm UDFA Cole Kelley from SE Louisiana.
  19. Sammy or Khalil? Bills GM had his choice. I so thought it was Mack in the trade.
  20. So, after the lawyers take the bulk of the settlement, I would guess the girls get about "tree fiddy" each.
  21. The Bills blew a chance at a Superbowl. It happened and I am sure there are a lot of second guessing going on by staff and players. It's only natural to have this happen in the offseason. Come OTAs none of this will amount to a hill of beans.
  22. I'm not sure about the Giants as they got some cap issues too but he would fit there. I could see a number of teams interested in Cole, especially teams with younger QBs. Jags and Jets come to mind. They got the money too. If Beane could grab one of Jax's 6th rounders (they got 3) that would be awesome.
  23. Thanks. That more what I was talking about. Bills would need to use their 3rd most likely for Woods. I'll check him out better.
