I for one don't give a hairy rat's ass about what WRs will get in yardage for the upcoming season. For my money it's all about Josh having at least one open receiver on every play. Whether a WR, TE, RB or even a reported eligible OL catch TDs and 1st downs it's meaningless as long as they keep moving the ball and SCORING. When the season starts, and the Bills show me they "can't" move the ball and score I will criticize them and give my opinions as to why. In the meantime, during this offseason I will continue to roll my eyes at the fans who haven't seen a 2022 season snap let alone have a clue what OBD's plans for the offense are this year. Stats be damned, when you boil it all down it's still a simple game. Score more points than your opponent!

Now it's about money spent. Per Spotrac Bills Cap Spending https://www.spotrac.com/nfl/buffalo-bills/positional/2022/full-cap/ Offense: $99.2M Defense: $107.2M Special Teams: $4.2M The area that the Bills "overspend" on defense is in the Secondary (3rd highest in the league). Taking in the consideration that the Bills have 3 high paid veterans in the secondary it looks pretty even to me.

Agree. Lil Dirty will be WR4 and probably get around 25-30% offensive snaps. More if Crowder is injured/nicked up. One other thing about McKenzie is his high catch %. 50 catches on 60 targets the last 2 years. He needs to be tested a little more than previous years to show his true worth. Everyone should know they did give him a 2 year deal this time around.

Bills Mafia Heeds the Call to Action by Dawson Knox

Never seen this before. Thanks for posting it! Great insight to Dawson and why he is who he is. -
Kumerow cut, re-signed, according to Profootballtalk
ColoradoBills replied to The Dean's topic in The Stadium Wall
No. He is a 4 year vet so he does not go thru waivers. -
Another thread hijacked about Bills WR depth. Once again talk of shootouts with KC. KC lost Tyreek Hill. Their top 3 WRs are as follows: Juju Smith-Schuster Marques Valdez-Scantling Mercole Hardman They drafted Skyy Moore. They got the following as depth: Corey Coleman Josh Gordon and a bunch of JAGs. Any Buffalo Bills fans want to trade WR rooms straight up with them?

LOL, that's gold Logic, GOLD! Last year it was Beane and McDermott can't find a TE. This year it's WR3. Past 3 years of NY Jet starting QBs. Darnold - 25 starts Wilson - 13 starts Flacco - 5 starts White - 3 starts Falk - 2 starts Siemian - 1 start Johnson - 1 relief game Compared to the Buffalo Bills QB for the last 3 seasons. Just some stats like Bado cited. LOL. I bet Crowder doesn't notice the difference. (sarcasm)!

Diggs Davis Crowder McKenzie Shakir Austin/Stevenson (Only if Austin has a bad summer as a PR/KR) Hodgins/Kumerow Bills keep 7 WRs even if that means 2TEs on the 53 with another on PS.

Great defensive and special teams coach that got lucky with Brady. Also add a mediocre GM who got lucky with Brady.

Have we given up on Isaiah Hodgins?
ColoradoBills replied to Allen2D̶i̶g̶g̶s̶TBD's topic in The Stadium Wall
Hodgins had shoulder surgery ending his 2020 rookie season. He jammed his knee real bad in the 1st preseason game to start the 2021 season. He is on the sidelines this week with an "undisclosed" injury to start his 2022 season. IMO "if" this new injury keeps him out of most of camp/preseason he is cooked. But, if by some miracle he gets healthy for the summer I personally think he has some decent talent. So only time will tell, but it doesn't look good. -
Crowder is on a 1 year deal and none of us know how he will fit in with JA. McKenzie is on a 2 year deal and we know he does bring a decent option. If Austin makes the team his primary role will be PR/KR duties. If all look good through the summer I got no problem keeping the 3 "smurfs".

I'm in the group who believes the Bills most likely keep 7 WRs this season. That 7th spot would then be a competition between Stevenson and Austin. With that said I see it around 50/50. Hoping one or the other can shine in that position!

If he is needed to take a lot of snaps in a particular game early in the season I'm sure he will. In the long run his greatest impact will be from December until February, and that is fine with me. He's getting up in age and has a long contract.

My main wish is that Goodell and the NFL get this right. If it means holding off and extending the investigation that is fine with me. I'm tired of these type of things smearing my favorite sport. If they suspend him for X amount of games with the caveat that more suspensions could come later, that's fine with me too. The NFL "Code of Conduct" rules have had a lot of questionable results in the past and this could get real ugly. The fans of the NFL should have a say in this one way or another and that should have some weight in the decision. I am curious as to what would happen if Watson is on the sidelines for the preseason games while the investigation is still ongoing. The fans and TV sponsors pay for this sport and the NFL better not forget that. The Cleveland Browns took a huge risk in what they did and whatever happens is completely on them. If it ends up being a huge mistake that's tough luck. Please Roger, get this right!

Is Joe Brady on the staff in case Ken Dorsey flubs it?
ColoradoBills replied to Utah John's topic in The Stadium Wall
4 former OCs on staff? This confuses me. I thought McDermott only cared about the defense. -
Austin was signed to compete for the last WR spot which will most likely entail PR/KR duties. At worse he brings a good deal of experience to share with Stevenson and anyone else competing. While his cap hit numbers are not in yet I'm fairly certain he signed a cheap contract so what's not to like? Personally, I believe Marquez Stevenson will be working his butt off this summer with returner duties and I still have hope for him. If Tavon Austin can help with that it will have been a good camp signing. Also, a good chance that if after he gets cut he could still be available later in the year if disaster hits the returner(s).

Jim Kelly on the all time passing list
ColoradoBills replied to Marlton Bills's topic in The Stadium Wall
Thanks Greg! I had moved to Colorado a couple of years earlier and never seen Jimbo's first game with the Bills. Heard from friends who were at the game as to how electrified they were seeing Kelly play. I now see why. You get the feeling if the Bills D would of stopped the Jets on that 3rd down with about 1:50 left in the game Kelly would of had a great chance to win the game. I might have to check out some other early Kelly games on YouTube. -
What position concerns you the most?
ColoradoBills replied to BillMafia716ix's topic in The Stadium Wall
I've asked Scott to give his report on KC's depth WRs and he never answered. For those interested in who they got: https://www.pro-football-reference.com/teams/kan/2022_roster.htm
