  1. I'm not asking for your help. What Lil' Dirty wants to do with his career is up to him. I just stated the facts of what happened. Personally, I was glad he re-signed with the enthusiasm he displayed.
  2. I just gave you one article. He did not test FA and re-signed with the Bills. He wanted to stay in Buffalo. You can look it up if you want.
  3. From everything I remember hearing is that McKenzie wanting to sign with the Bills and made that quite clear. https://billswire.usatoday.com/2022/03/18/why-isaiah-mckenzie-re-signed-buffalo-bills/
  4. Time is about run out for Tommy, I fear. He has had only 17 catches in his career and his blocking is average at best from what I see and hear. That 2020 illness may be the reason but who knows. He doesn't play any special teams and that can't help. If he doesn't step up now, I see him heading to the PS or outright cut. It could be a shame that Howard is not a great improvement, but I got to give him some more time.
  5. I don't expect much from any TE2. Hoping for some good blocking and catching 15-20 passes.
  6. Yes. A few days earlier on a 2-year deal.
  7. I can see Ed Oliver signing cheap and getting a lucrative PSE contract as a country music star.
  8. Agree. FWIW the Bills ran 8% of 12 and 0% of 13 last year. I imagine most of the 12 was shorter yardage. They may add some 12 in longer situations this year. They ran only 1% of 22 last year. With Cooks versatility that might go up some (league average of 3%).
  9. Cleaning up some disk issues or shaving a spur are considered minor. I'm not an orthopedic surgeon but I spent my entire working career helping to engineer and manufacture fixation devices. No one wants back surgery, and it is extremely scary and dangerous. It just sounds like Spencer's procedure wasn't too invasive. Let's all hope that is what McDermott meant.
  10. The game's outcome was razor thin. One third down pass break-up giving the ball back to Josh could have been the difference. Presuming that Tre White's contributions would not have made a difference is also a fact-free opinion.
  11. Internal fixation on the vertebrates for an NFL O-lineman would be serious. There is no indication made by McDermott's "procedure" comment to suggest that. During spring practices, Brown was not in attendance working out. At the time, Buffalo head coach Sean McDermott downplayed the issue saying Brown has “got a little something going on that he had a procedure on.”
  12. If OBJ was smart he would make sure he is healthy as possible before starting negotiations with any team. That's going to eat up close to half a season. Looking to sign a long-term contract wouldn't be smart knowing most teams have burned up their cap. He will make much more at the start of FA next year. So, when healthy it may be wise to sign with a competitor for the remaining of the season. Which team and for how much could maybe vary a lot.
  13. You add Levi Wallace, Cam Lewis and Dane Jackson as guys getting coached up, you have to give big props to John Butler. 3 UDFA's and a 7th round pick all outplaying their draft status. This is why I made my earlier comment thinking he may be next in line for DC.
  14. While I'm not a big OBJ fan he is not expected back healthy until November/late October. If he is interested in the Bills, it should be looked into at that time. He might sign cheap and want to chase another ring before signing a longer contract in 2023.
  15. Just something everyone has to live with. All the more reason to pack the PS with as many good players as possible. No such thing as "camp bodies" anymore. Everyone has to be good enough for a shot at PS. So good that Beane is always looking to improve every level of players all the time.
  16. Nice to hear. These out of nowhere CBs that Beane and company find plus the undoubtably great work by John Butler and Jim Salgado is amazing. Looks like cutdown for the depth CBs will be tough and hope the guys on the outside can hang on the PS. Side note: With Butler now also taking on defensive pass game coordinator duties, anyone think he may be next in line for DC like I do?
  17. Lil Dirty in the film room. Is Kyler Murray going to participate? I hear he needs some help.
  18. Very, very few homes (even multi-million-dollar ones) have pools in Colorado. Of all the people I have known here (40 years now) I only had one friend with a pool. It cost him an arm and a leg to heat and maintain. see above LOL.
  19. Man, from day one Jordan has loved this team and city. I truly hope he has a career year this coming season.
  20. I'm still waiting for a "Cheektowaga Day" like Crystal Beach use to have. Stupid kids.
  21. I remember a lot of "hope of improvement" talk but not so much proof. Seems different this year. It's a big season for him and he looks prepared for it. He has to step up and he knows it.
  22. Mr. Hyde has a spleen of steel!
  23. Sounds like OJ Howard had a pretty good day. Also mentions Wydermyer again (I've heard his name from others too). Jalen may take Sweeney's PS spot.
  24. Yes and yes. I implore the mods to do as you suggest.
