It didn't look bad to me at all. Hope he is going to be OK. Maybe it's just that his knee isn't used to the extra weight since he got thick.

It was a tough choice but AB announces his biggest regret…

The biggest miracle since "Fishes and Loaves" night! -
Ballard and Reich both. After/during Luck they had Brissett (2 years), old man Rivers (1 year), washed up Wentz (1 year) and now Ryan (2 years left with $35M dead if cut next year). If Ryan isn't the answer, which to me is at least winning the division and/or a WC game, I would think their seats get a little warm.

You point is well taken. The Bills want a strong ST squad but there is a limit on how many players a team can keep who only have impact on STs. These "ST only players" also put a strain on who dresses on game day. To justify their spot, they have to dress every week. I know a lot of fans believe they are all locks but I'm willing to bet when the last 5 players are kept or cut, a lot of factors go into it. Put another way, no one can convince me that ST core players like Gilliam, Neal and Johnson (all who have worth at their base position) are not desired more by Beane and McDermott above guys who only dress for Special Teams.

I'm dumbfounded as to why Watson and the Browns would want to play him. If he is suspended for the year, it's meaningless to give him snaps. The risk they take is what happens after he steps onto the field. IF the "twitter-verse" explodes and the story gets legs, it could spill out of the sports media world into the mainstream media. Having this "discussed" on morning news shows and women's afternoon talk shows will not make the NFL and them look good at all. Add the AMTA Convention coming to Cleveland in a week or two. If they play him and it does turn stupid, then I hope they reap all the bad press and not the NFL in general. The idiots should just lay low, but it seems Watson and the Browns are going to go down swinging the "He didn't do anything wrong" position.

Jets sign OT Duane Brown 2 years at 22 million

I didn't either until I looked him up yesterday. He was a 4th round DE from the Rams in 2018 who was cut the following year. Jets picked him up and his stat line isn't bad. One of the reasons I guess we don't know him is his game logs stats against the Bills has been pedestrian at best. -

Beane is great but he has missed on a number of DL FAs. Yes, they want a decent DL. I think he may have the right recipe this year. -
@Ghost_002!, is there going to be a QB controversy?

So the go that going for them.......

Did BB want to throw his headset to the ground at the end of the half? He didn't look happy. I'd rather watch the game than listen to Michael Irvin.

You give a coherent alternative. But when it's all said and done, I'm glad the Bills ended up with Josh Allen. LOL, I had a couple of drinks and I had to re-read your post. For a second I thought you were against the Bills paying JA. I think you mean that a Franchise QB cost is in its own category and then divide the rest accordingly. I will say I'm pretty sure there isn't any "hard and fast rule" about that. Either way I do have confidence Beane and McDermott are aware of that and doing the best they can to find that balance. -
Over the Cap positional spending

Spotrac has Bills DL at 23. Of course, next year with Von actually costing money along with Oliver on 5th year it will go up. https://www.spotrac.com/nfl/positional/defensive-line/ -

About $60M going to CJ Mosley, Carl Lawson and Corey Davis and John Franklin-Myers. Not that I'm saying they are bad players just seems a risky plan. -
I agree Gunner. The argument can be made that the vast number of CBs on the Bills the last few years are Day 3 picks along with UDFAs.
