  1. Cut MA and tell him if he is cleared of charges, they will re-sign him. Use his spot to move a guy to IR. Bring in punters for tryouts and claim 1 off waivers at cutdown if need be. Bring another in on the PS and find out who starts week one. It's all sad but it is just a punter. They can survive this.
  2. Yep. If you took his cap hit away, he doesn't make the team IMO. It sad but I think all his injuries has affected his game way too much. Beane has some extra $s so is cutting him out of the question? I'm not sure either way.
  3. I agree with his results being low yardage. One thing that caused a lot of it was the routes he was called to run. A lot of short 1st down throws and a bunch of short sideline catches. He had a couple of mid-level catches. Not sure if it's his inability to go deeper or just what was available for him to catch. He lined up both outside and in the slot. The thing that was positive is he seems to have some good hands and can box out DBs.
  4. I really wanted Howard to succeed when he was signed but I just don't see it the way you do. I tried watching the TE battle all preseason and watched a lot of them when I rewatched the game today. Howard just isn't getting any separation and his blocking is average at best. I don't have the TE snap count for the preseason totals, but I would guess OJ leads. He had only 3 catches for 16 yards in the 3 games.
  5. Alright Barkley, do something and avoid the shutout.
  6. Bills 3OL is brutal. Maybe some will not even stay on PS.
  7. I got to slow my scrolls. My pirate feed is like 2 minutes behind. LOL.
  8. I use them when I need to. Not often and typically in preseason. I do use an old laptop for stuff like that. It's wiped clean with a browser on it.
  9. Someone is the disaster punter. Bills will go for a lot of 4th downs also.
  10. The men of Charlie Company had been in the field for two weeks when the Sarge announces, I've got good news and bad news. First the good news. Today we're going to change our underwear. The troops start cheering wildly. Now the bad news, continues the Sarge. Smith, you change with Jones. Andrews, you change with Murphy . . .
  11. Thank God. I do have to find a pirate site to watch the game. Time to fire up the old laptop I don't care about!
  12. The way I see it, he hasn't had a lot of competition. From the little I see; Morris may be better. If Sweeney stays, I hope he learned how to block from Kromer!
  13. While there is merit in this, I do have a comment as so many fans feel this way. During the draft players are evaluated against other college players. They compete against the good and bad college players. When these UDFAs get on teams playing against other non-starters they seem to be harshly judged. I mean they at least are playing against the remaining non-drafted college elite, correct? I feel the ones that excel in this situation at least have a chance to continue while the ones that don't probably never will. That being said, I also hope Blackshear makes to PS and can continue to develop. A few of these guys can succeed.
  14. Agree, and the same is true for the other half if I'm a victim. That seems to go in regard to anything anymore.
  15. It's interviews like these that proves to me that players can be "coached up" way more than some fans would have you believe. Would love to hear more from Kromer but would also like other coaches to be interviewed by these 2. Chad Hall comes to mind. He seems to have a special knack.
  16. I only became aware of it today in this thread. It seems to be accurate. I don't understand the reasoning for it as none was given. It would be a good question for Beane/McDermott to be asked.
  17. Evidently not an option. The incident happened before he signed an NFL contract. I have already replied to this by saying the rule should be re-evaluated. But that is another story.
  18. I totally agree with your premise about the Bills offense and JA limiting his share of rushes but the anemic thing is a little off. JA led all the "rushing type" QBs last season with that average. That includes Jackson, Hurt, Mahomes and a bunch of others.
  19. It seems to me that maybe this rule should be re-evaluated. In other instances, a team can have a players go on that list and wait to see what happens in the legal proceedings, correct? In this situation it puts a lot more burden on the team to make a decision without that outlet. In a way it could force a team to make a decision before the final result is in.
  20. Agree with both your points. While I surely don't want to get involved with a lot of the "discussions" going on in this thread my main interest is the facts (as much as we can gather) and what the Bills will do. What ultimately ends up happening could take a long time and I surely don't need to be a speculator. It's a bad deal all around. As of now, as a Buffalo Bills fan I'm just saddened we are going through this.
