That is a crazy analogy. And just to clarify how sports works. Wins are the only indicator that matters.

No offense, but it's beliefs like this that makes Vegas happy. The Bengals have an 8% chance to make the playoffs. Even if they win out it only goes up to 26%. Bengals play Broncos BUT the Colts play the Giants, and the Chargers play the Patriots, and the Dolphins play the Browns.

Commanders can take the lead with an XP. -
Not the longest but one of the most unimportant for its length. Bills WRs currently has 2008 yards with 14 TDs. Chiefs WRs currently have 1698 yards with 13 TDs. Worthy leads that team with 494 yards. Ja'Marr Chase has 1413 yards and won't see the playoffs. The combined records of these number 1 and 2 seeded AFC teams are 24-4. The whole premise about needing "elite" WRs is debunked. Teams win football games, not stats. FWIW.

For sure. We brought in booze all the time in the 70s. My dad and I went to a game the first year of Rich Stadium. A bunch of guys in front of us in line had a pony keg strapped like a backpack to one of the guys. After a moment at the gate, they let him in. When we got closer a guy in front of us asked the ticket taker about it. The ticket taker said, "he bought a ticket for the keg, so I let him in". That was funny!

I do agree with those saying he is a "drama queen". He is, but he did hurt it. IF he does play, it will slow him down some and with those tackles on the Chiefs, he may be in for a long day come Saturday. That is the risk they have to evaluate.

First off, the Texans have a very good conference record at 7-2. A win against KC, and a Ravens win puts them in the driver's seat for the #3 seed. They have as much to play for as any playoff team concerned with seeding. Mahomes hurt his ankle. The question is how BAD the injury is. None of us really know. IF it's questionable, the best is to rest it this Saturday and hope for Christmas Day. He would get another long rest after that game. That's how I see it. This Saturday is huge for the AFC playoff picture. The Denver/Chargers game is big too.

12/15/24 Week 15 Bills @ Lions Game Post Game Thread

He was 7 for 7 in catches last year. Just didn't see enough of him with the other RB3s. -
Lots of good reasons to go with Bruce, Jimbo, and others but I have to say in my 60+ years of fandom it's Josh Allen.

Yes, they have "clinched", but I don't think they will be satisfied with the 4th seed and just sit back resting players. They were the "talk of the town" going into this season and now they're not mentioned much. I can't see them being just an "also ran" in their minds. They have a lot to play for beating the KC Chiefs.

To rest or not to rest the starters, that is the question

None of this has to be decided right now. All 6 of the AFC current seeds play before the Bills play Sunday. Broncos/Chargers on TNF and the other 4 on Saturday. The Bills play the Pats at home. They need to play to win. Then the following week the Chiefs play on Christmas. The Bills will know before the NYJ game at home if they have a shot at #1. Let's not overthink this.
