  1. It's 3 holes on the entire line. You would be calling for Beane's head if that was a Bills depth.
  2. What about the Rams DL depth? I noticed you didn't respond to my question in the other thread.
  3. Sure, but so do other SB hopefuls. Please do me a favor and look up the 3 DL backups for the Rams. Marquise Copeland Jonah Williams (not the 1st rounder from CIN) Michael Hoecht They are ALL UDFAs will no real NFL experience. How would you feel about them if 1 or 2 of the starters get hurt? https://www.therams.com/team/depth-chart
  4. That's what I'm saying to you. We crossed the Rubicon. Let's see what happens. It's a very good roster. Just got to hope the young CBs hang in there for the first games. At least we got Poyer and Hyde to shepherd them.
  5. Come on Scott, season is about to start, cheer up brother! But Gollum, and the evil one Crept up and slipped away with her Her, her, yeah Ain't nothing I can do, no … I guess I keep on rambling
  6. Can't have enoug Willi..............er Andersons.
  7. Morris is new. Josh knows Sweeney and he sticks until something else happens. Beane will get the best TE for the PS that he can. Sweeney if under the gun and he knows it. If he doesn't improve, he won't be a Bill next year.
  8. There are 55 players on the depth chart without a punter. Ike to PUP and Smith to the list, so it's 53. Stevenson goes to IR Wednesday or Thursday when they sign a punter. The way I see it going into the Rams game the following players are inactive. 1. OL: Tommy Doyle (especially if he is still nicked up). If not Doyle probably Hart. 2. TE: Quintin Morris sits to start the season (he is mainly here as Knox's backup). I know, I know, they will go with Sweeney as TE2 to start. 3. DE: Shaq Lawson 4. LB: Baylon Spector 5. CB: Cam Lewis The good thing is that all the RBs and WRs are dressing! Wouldn't like an RB not dressing. When Tre comes back Cam is cut. When Smith comes back it will be a toss-up between him and Spector. I'm guessing Spector and Smith to PS. If/when Ike comes back (not 100% he will) Johnny Rotten or Hart cut. If/when Stevenson comes back it will be a puzzlement. All of this is dependent on the overall team health. Am I missing something?
  9. They'll move him to IR when they sign a punter.
  10. First off welcome to the board Southern bills! Good post. After the Rams its, Tannehill, Tua and Jackson. Not exactly 3 QBs putting a ton of pressure on CBs.
  11. McKenzie will do ok. He always has a chance to break a big return off. His problem on punts is he gets antsy around traffic.
  12. Agree. I will say I'm sure Beane did not think he would be going into the season with almost $22M in dead cap. What happened is over with but I'm sure he will want to have a much better 2023 in regard to that and I think he will.
  13. Come on, Jones is a great ST guy, but he has never been a good RB. His one play against the Bills in the playoff game was his best RB play in like 6-7 years. He's great for the team at what he does.
  14. None. Rex had his own process!
  15. The real question is do they have enough Special Teams Depth? What happens if Jones gets hurt again? sarcasm
  16. I asked the same question. Maybe a guy goes to IR.
  17. Hodgins was a bubble player so now that he's gone, he's gone. I hope he clears waivers and if he does, I'd be shocked if he isn't on the PS. If he is on the PS he knows what he needs to do to try to break the bubble and make the team next season. As to Kumerow. I was very happy when the Bills claimed him and after his TD catch in 2020, I looked forward to what he could show in 2021. As to his targets, well all I can say is he didn't get many, but he was on the field for 116 snaps. He has trouble separating. I see it as Jake was on the field a lot in preseason and didn't get many targets at all. That tells me what I see is probably true. I'll give him the nod due to ST play but if he is needed at WR this year I hope he performs better than last year. Although he's 30+ and I think we've seen his ceiling. I hope he proves me wrong and also excels on ST. Lord knows the team has a lot of ST guys.
  18. Geez Alpha. Some fans liked his play. I think he has a chance to get to the PS and keep improving. FTR, Kumerow (his competition) had 10 yards per catch against the same guys and he fumbled. Keenum and Barkley were throwing not Josh. It looks like Kumerow gets the nod and I hope he can have a better than 43% catch % if he is needed at WR again.
  19. Brandon and the Terrible, Horrible, No Good, Very Bad Week Not a great title for a children's book.
  20. The way I see it is if they only lose 2 guys to waivers and maybe Duke Johnson to a signing it would be ok. If 3 or more guys get picked up it will weaken the PS enough to be a bit of a concern. Beane will fill it out the best he can but it's always good having guys that have spent time in the system. Agree with the logic. Anderson is probably safe, but you never know with OL. He was the only one that seemed worth anything when it came to the 3rd string OL. Be nice to keep.
  21. Yes. So, do you think all 3 of Bryant, Anderson and Blackshear make the PS? I think Bryant has the best chances to get claimed. Does anyone sign Duke Johnson? I think it's a good chance.
  22. It's Sweeney's last chance to prove it. They will draft another TE for sure if he doesn't show up big this year with what they want from him.
  23. Ignore is your friend LOL. I'll give one more post to calm down, then it's a "time out" and he makes the list!
  24. The Mancz is a puzzlement. Maybe there will be a guy going to IR. Could it be Mancz, he was injured but I thought it was reported it wasn't bad?
