HAVE to get a TE.

How can a team claiming a Bills cut be a mistake? Did you think his preseason play deserved a 53 roster spot?

I'm a broken record. Seems the guys from other teams will be a TE, DB (CB and S). Nice to get Mancz on the PS.

Could be a 5 next year after Crowder is gone. Making the cut on a good team is not a bad option for him at this time if he can hang next year. Kumerow was on the bubble this year and will always be on the bubble.

I will venture to say Beane and company are very happy after the waiver signings. Alot of effort and resources went into these guys. With the exception of McCloud the better cuts are all on the PS.

It's because we are better than the rest.

McCloud was someone I thought would make the 53 yesterday. Sad to see him go. Keeping Love over Jonathan is a wash. Tanner Owen was not impressive from what I seen. Same with Tenuta. Like I said in my earlier post, Beane needs to look for TEs, DBs and OL (Mancz signed) only for the PS.

The first hit is about Zach Wilson's rookie deal. Beane may have had Howard sign offsets. It's just not common with vets.

Beane has averaged $10M the last 2 years. Moving on from players not producing costs. It's no big deal and it's looking it will be much lower next season. He's pretty good at his job!

It's the full day of cuts. Some GMs try to cut a guy a day earlier to sneak him through while everyone is busy on cutdown day.

Duke Johnson may get signed. I know there is more. I just think the above have a better chance. It seems other C/TE/G/WR and DBs may be looked for outside the team. One thing for sure, after the initial PS signing, we know they get churned quite a bit.

Offsets are usually only done on rookie contracts. Vet contracts I imagine would be rare. If Beane signed Howard to an offset is sure would have been a wise move but somehow, I doubt it.

I mean he knows Sweeney as a player much better than Morris. If Morris overtakes Sweeney in the depth chart it will take some time. The TD was his only play in the preseason. He had only 3 catches for less than 20 yards. I thought he looked slow. For whatever reason they didn't want him.
