LOL, Roger said this in London and is just talking bullcrap and blowing smoke up the European NFL fans butts. There would be so many pitfalls to this idea it's not even funny. There has been a lot of reasons it's a bad idea already given, but once this got into serious talks so many more would arise. Scheduling alone would be a nightmare. What would this do to MNF, TNF, playoff games just to start it off. The scheduling issues bring in the travel discrepancies. Imagine the Rams not knowing who you are playing in the playoffs and finding out Sunday night you play in Frankford the following Sunday. Just think of the competitive advantage a #1 seeded EU team would have. However, most likely it would be a huge disadvantage to the EU teams. All things being equal what would the average UFA player choose? How about the 21-year-old kids who gets drafted and doesn't want to live in EU? As it stands now, they can refuse and rejoin the draft the following year. It's bad enough when a player gets into legal problems in the US, what's going to happen when a couple of EU countries are involved. The NFLPA would have a lot of questions about players rights and conditions of work.

Agree and you brought up good points. I'm only going to repeat myself (as I have posted numerous times already) that the Bills are in a new offense with a new OC. How can it be that we are subjected to thread after thread and post after post from the "criticizers" that it is Beane, McDermott and, add the players name here (_________) fault for any failures and not one thread or string of thoughts go towards our teams new OC? I like Ken Dorsey so far, but there is a lot of areas he needs to work on. It's a complete work in progress but I for one have a little patience to see what unfolds during the season. I can only add that maybe injuries and playing conditions have hampered his O but I want to see how Dorsey grows (or doesn't) grow into unleashing the Bills offensive potential.

LOL. Your visual reply is much better than mine!

Don't take some of these fans too much to heart. Knox is going to miss the next game and it will result in his first 5 games being a mere shadow of what he did last year in the same number of games. An extremist (like the guys you're trying to reply to) think it's his regression and a waste of capital from Beane. Some us fans with a bit more of a realistic nature think it might be something else. Dorsey has a full 4 games under his belt and is 3-1. Brian Daboll was 0-4 in his first stint as an OC. I'm of the opinion that Ken needs some time to work up all aspects of his schemes. Others are of the opinion that he should be the all-around best OC to bring out the very best in every offensive player right out of the gate. Bills fans can pick which opinion to back.

Dude, climb off the ledge. Just because you post a bunch of scenarios that might happen doesn't mean it will. Are YOU prepared to bet anything, anything that the Steelers win Sunday's game in Orchard Park against the Buffalo Bills? Because it's all about one thing. Will an NFL team win the game or lose the game. That is all that matters. So, what is it. Give me your "personal insight" (that is your term not mine) about Sunday's game. Who wins?

They got 5 DTs. One has to sit. I think Ed plays and Phillips sits one more week and is ready for KC. Jones, Settle, Bryant and Oliver will be more than enough to give the PIT(T) rookie fits.

In 2 years, the Colts will be ready to trade for him.

I know you were a Bills fan in 1972.................what happened between then and 2022? Baltimore marched and then this happened.
-
Did you read my earlier post? Is it Knox calling the plays? Can you give the Bills new OC some time to gameplan him properly? Can you give the new OC some extra time due to his "bigger fish to fry" concerns with a banged-up OL/WRs? Can you give the new OC some credit for introducing a RB pass catching scheme to work up? I'm so glad I still can see your posts. You do amuse me.

Well said. Fans getting all over Knox is a bit foolish but it's the way of the world anymore. The offense in general is nowhere solidified yet. Bills got a new OC and has had a banged-up OL/WR core. Bills have some issues in the run game to boot. Knox himself is bang-up and has had a pretty rough summer with his family. I'm not criticizing OC Dorsey, but he's still got a lot to do and learn. I don't think enough Bills fans can appreciate what Dorsey is going through. We all need to give this thing some more time. Well said again. He doesn't start getting big money until 2024. Funny thing is after that they can get out of the contract pretty cheap. Hmmm, maybe Brandon Beane knows what he's doing when it comes to what Knox will or won't be doing by them.

21 It is a little weird. It could be just waiting to see if a player actually takes a 53-roster spot or just elevated for this week's game. Beane is very low on cash, not sure if some of the reasoning is based on saving a few bucks. With players potentially coming back to the roster soon, Beane might leave it at 52 if he can get away with the bodies he has for another 2 weeks. A trade is always possible, but the only positions the Bills can afford to move out of are DL (if everyone is getting healthy) and RB. I guess an LB could also be available being Smith can return after the bye. Any trade would also have money issues to consider.

I actually see these bad team matchups as a good thing. Most of these ugly games and bad teams get hidden every Sunday, with only the local fans having to deal with it. If yesterday's game was played on Sunday no one would be talking about it. It is a good thing for the fans of these bad teams to be in the spotlight. It will light a fire under ownership down to coaches and players. Look what the Colts have done with their organization. While not anything as bad as the Wilson trade, the Ryan deal was stupid too. Next week's game between the Bears and Commanders is the same. Perpetual suffering fan bases causes by bad ownership and mismanagement.

So, the Colts won a "close game". Does that mean they are better than the Bills? I read that in a thread.
-
Haack with a perfect hold!.
-
No. The Bills/Browns had Edwards/Anderson as QBs. Thier combined 2009 salaries amounted to a rounding error for Wilson/Ryan's pay.
-
Bradley Chubb gets his name mentioned.

I will always thank John Elway! One of the best moments in Bills history.

I know most fans hate games like this. I'm just enjoying the laughs I'm getting.

That's the strategy in Buffalo, where C.J. Spiller is going to earn his paycheck this season, according to Bills offensive coordinator Nathaniel Hackett. "It's real simple," Hackett told WGR-AM on Wednesday, via The Buffalo News. "We're going to give him the ball until he throws up. So he's either got to tap out or throw up on the field. Let's just put it that way."

Yep. For all those that need a reminder of the trade. Traded • Russell Wilson • 2022 fourth round pick (#116-Eyioma Uwazurike) to Broncos for • Drew Lock • Noah Fant • Shelby Harris • 2022 first round pick (#9-Charles Cross) • 2022 second round pick (#40-Boye Mafe) • 2022 fifth round pick (#145-Darian Kinnard) • 2023 first round pick (?-?) • 2023 second round pick (?-?) on 2022-03-16 PLUS: A 5-year Russell Wilson extension for $242M that ends in 2029 when Wilson turns 41 and becomes an UFA.
