There are still a good number of "meaningful" games to be played today. Teams still trying to get a playoff spot and seedings.

That '63 Bills/Patriots game is the earlies game I have a clear(ish) memory of.

I thought the same about Trubisky. However, he hasn't really shown anything when he has played. If he plays the 1st half of the Pats game, he needs to show something with this team. He was elevated a couple times only to not be active. The Bills do that to players on the PS they like. He may get a legitimate chance to be #2 next season. None of us know how well he looks in prepping the D for opposing QBs and how well he is bonding with Josh. It is an interesting move. I like it.

The thing about Cook is in his first 3 years he has taken less than half of the offensive snaps. He only has 525 rushes. There is a lot of tread left on his tires the way the Bills use him.

To initially compete with Shane B? I wouldn't mind that.

I think it's a good move. Trubisky will be gone next year, and they roll with Josh, White and Buechele (on the PS).

I'm really hoping Von can be a factor in the playoffs. We will see what happens next week. Bringing back those players I posted about are not much over vet minimums. The roster spots have to be filled by someone so to me it's a no brainer. When it comes to the defense (especially the D-Line), Beane will need to draft better and find some UFAs that want to come here on reasonable deals. The cap is looking WAY better than it was last year. I see one more WR in next year's draft (2nd round) as needed and the vast majority of picks going defense. Probably pick up an OL in day 3.

It's tough with these RB contracts. Some of these guys move to another team and it doesn't work out and they don't even make the end of the contract. Seems to me, Cook can make the whole contract in Buffalo. We should find out next spring.

I'm guessing Von's agent's call would go straight to Beanes voicemail. They are not redoing his contract over this. All this talk about this 1 sack is crazy. Von needs to be preparing for his old team the Broncos.

I never heard that. He has said he is interested in becoming an NFL GM. As for the Bills and Von's agent sitting down this week and redoing a contract agreement over a 1 sack incentive...........I doubt it.

I did the math using both draft pick value charts. I will use the new Rich Hill trade value chart as my example since that is the new standard. IF the difference between winning and losing makes the NE Patriots go from the 1st to the 5th pick the hypothetical results are as follows: Going from the 1st to the 5th in EACH ROUND (Not just the 1st) equates to a Draft Value of 563 POINTS. If you take every pick in the 15th position from Round 1 through Round 7 (Miami's position) the total Draft Value is 540 POINTS. That is more than an entire team's draft, that is Picks 15, 47, 79, 116, 153, 191 and 231 in VALUE. It is a big deal.
