Dr. Jekyl, Mr. Hyde review of the Sean McDermot
ColoradoBills replied to Chaos's topic in The Stadium Wall
The Pegula's are not getting rid of McDermott, nor should they. You just need to live with it. -
Criticism of McD and coaching has reached insanity level…
ColoradoBills replied to eball's topic in The Stadium Wall
Since I've starting to put the most egregiously trolling posters on "ignore", it's much better to be on the board. It was getting to the point I couldn't take it anymore. I still avoid the GDTs other than a post or two. It's not that I do the ignore to just listen to "homers. Posters who post legitimate negative takes are fine and I encourage that. What I won't deal with any more are the true trolls. I wish others would do the same so they would get bored and just leave. -

Every team in the NFL struggles to stay around .500 without an above average QB. -
It seems to me that with IR only a minimum of 4 weeks they should put Von on it and bring up Mike Love full time. Then if Von is ready, he would be eligible to come back for the Bengals and New England games to tune up for the playoffs. If Love gets poached or he uses all his "call ups", they could get in trouble if there are any more injuries.

Yep, and not only for his pass D in the middle. He helps keep everyone on the same page. Add Hyde being gone who also helped keep guys assigned right, it puts way too much on the CBs. Hydes excellent positioning and instincts was a huge plus to the CBs.

The thing is you can never be sure. If it wasn't him who would have taken his place? Bringing in an entirely different scheme could of done damage too.

Is the 17-game schedule diminishing NFL play
ColoradoBills replied to SBbeliever's topic in The Stadium Wall
Yes. It's goofy now with the 17 games and will be worse when 18 comes. They already had 3 games were previous teams standing determine who they play the following year and the 17th game added another. When game 18 comes and all the top teams (and bottom teams) are playing each other 5 more times a year it skews the standings too much for me. I know it won't go back to the way it was, but it doesn't mean I have to like the changes. -

I do not like the 17-game schedule and the 1 team conference bye, and I will not change my mind on it. We are headed for an 18-game season with 8 playoff teams, and I will not like that even more. -
LOL, I had 2 older brother that pulled the "Niagara Falls" routine on me all the time.

I have to add that the OL pass protection is falling way off. But Dorsey is the OC and it's his job to minimize that with his calls. Bottom line, it seems to me that the offense just isn't acting as a consistent cohesive unit. I'm starting to question how much the Bills offense is attacking the defensive weaknesses. It's been a crazy 4 weeks and I'm hoping things get a little more organized in the next 2 weeks.

Josh is exclusively flushing to the right. Daboll had plays that let Josh move to his left. I always thought that was effective to reverse that tendency. I've mentioned the lack of misdirection. It should not just be on run plays. A glaring problem I noticed yesterday was the number of check-downs, WR screens and flares that were totally read by the defense. It has to mean the offense is way too predictable and has way too many "tells". It seems to me this has to be addressed in the next 2 weeks. Especially with a 10 day mini-break coming up soon. I know Dorsey is new and we would have to live through this but it's becoming too obvious and actually is putting Josh in danger.

You do have a right as a fan to feel any way you want. As a fan of this team "almost since inception" frustration has been prevalent. 11 other NFL teams fans are in the same boat. You cite the Superbowl years and its frustration. The thing the separates me from you is, that group of owners, coaches and players have nothing to do with the current cast. The current group of men (and women) who daily represent my hometown team have yet to realize their final ultimate outcome. So, until that unfolds, I prefer to look toward the possibility of a championship and see no correlation to past teams. I guess after all the analysis, discussions, arguments and expectations are over, I'll always be a "homer".

No. He's a troll.

Getting sick of "Last year was our year."
ColoradoBills replied to The Red King's topic in The Stadium Wall
You can't move forward by looking in the rearview mirror. For all those who do and want to wallow in it, that's their business. I for one don't care what they say. We're on to New England. -
I have commented on how Josh's feet and throwing platform has been "not good" the last few weeks. It started even before the injury. He is having too many "arm only" passes. Granted the "not good" OL is causing him to scramble too much causing a lot of it. I'm hoping so much that it gets identified and repaired.
