This board is going to implode when Beane signs him to a 5-year contract. I don't think Edmunds will even test the market. It will be a fair deal for both parties.
-
Brady is not going back to NE, and neither is McDaniel's. It's over for BB. He is not going to survive long enough to beat Shula's win record.
-
We will all know next week Wednesday. I'm guessing limited to start with, and if it's not bad, full Thursday.

9 min 94 yard drive on the road.
ColoradoBills replied to Riverboat Ritchie's topic in The Stadium Wall
If fans can't understand that this is why you want a good running attack with check downs to RBs I don't know what they are thinking. I can't remember the exact game, but I remember during the SB years with Kelly, the Bills came out and had a 13-minute drive for a TD. It killed the opposition. -
It's a team's right to have their physicians perform a physical before signing. If OBJ refuses and I was Beane, I would pass on the deal.
-
Then we agree. It's semantics, but it would be a 2-year contract for OBJ that Beane stretches out with 2 void years.
-
Void years are not part of the base contract. If you mean that OBJ signs a 2-year (this year and next year) contract and Beane thinks it's wise to stretch out 2 void years (which both years will be due at the start of 2024) then that is a possibility. But it's not a 4-year contract. The reason being OBJ will become an UFA at the start of 2024.
-
Yes, 4 years would be insane. When it comes to a 2-3 year contract it will be all about the guaranteed money. I would see the contract he wants being the remainder of this year and 2 more. I'd love to see the Bills sign him but if his play drops off it will be a real drag on the cap for Beane. He is a risk for any team that signs him to a long contract. It's not being negative, it's just the facts.
-
Bills will not sign a guy without a physical that is coming off an ACL. No way he gets a 4-year deal after coming off an ACL and on the wrong side of 30. There is not one NFL WR who signed a 4-year contract when he was over 30.
-
Wouldn't Tampa hold his rights? Then if released he would go through waivers?
-
I'll admit I don't know what D they should be playing with the depth guys, but it seems like Frazier has been trying different stuff. Some has worked and some definitely hasn't.
-
I don't get this at all. The Bills and the Dolphins play 14 games between the same teams every season. The difference this year is this: AFCW: Bills/Chiefs vs Dolphins/Chargers AFCS: Bills/Titans vs Dolphins/Texans NFCW: Bills/Rams vs Dolphins/49ers Dolphins have the easier schedule as anyone can see. They NOW face some of their better opponents and we will all see how they do.

OLine/Unforced Error All 22 Review - Lions 2022
ColoradoBills replied to Bocephuz's topic in The Stadium Wall
I'll admit I was a little shocked Beane didn't pick an OL with anywhere from 3-5 last draft. It has to be the #1 priority this offseason. -
Weather looks OK for tomorrow. Upper 30s for kickoff, no rain. Not sure on the winds. No wind alerts that I see.

If Nate Hackett was the Buffalo Bills HC, my posts here would make @ScottLaw look like a "homer".

Aaron Rodgers … Leadership for Dummies
ColoradoBills replied to CorkScrewHill's topic in The Stadium Wall
GB fans have had a long ride, but you are right, they should have had more championships. GB started Rodgers in his 4th year of his rookie deal. If they would have not signed Rodgers to his extension Jordan Love should be starting in his 3rd year. They should have traded Rodgers for whatever they could have got for him during the off season. If they hit on Love, they could have continued into the 4th decade and maybe won another. I just don't see Love wanting to stay in GB now. It looks like they screwed the pooch. -
Aaron Rodgers … Leadership for Dummies
ColoradoBills replied to CorkScrewHill's topic in The Stadium Wall
Rodgers had 2 more years on his contract before he got this $150M 3-year steal. Green Bay management was foolish to let him force that on them and I said it at the time. Paying him $60M more in cash next season is the height of stupidity. Rodgers never should have demanded that much, and GB never should have signed it. Jordan Love is on his last year of his rookie contract next season, and I want to see what GB does about that! He hasn't played enough to warrant a 5th year option, but they will have to or lose him to free agency. If they option him, it will be under the "Fifth-year option for players who do not meet any criterion", which will be just over $20M. Love has started (and lost) one game in his career. Will they try to option him and trade him? Good luck if no teams wants to trade, they will have even less money for other players! I see Green Bay in the basement in the coming years and I will just laugh at their stupidity. -
Bills two-time AFL champion, Al Bemiller passed away
ColoradoBills replied to Just Jack's topic in The Stadium Wall
Thank you for all the memories, Al. -
I make it a point not to bet on the Bills one way or the other. It takes away from my enjoyment of following the team as a fan. I worked with a guy from the New Jersey Pine Barrens, and he laughingly mocked himself as a "piney hillbilly". Great guy and a good friend of mine.

$5 is a lot of money for people living in the Jersey Pine Barrens.
