  1. Yep. Bills are going to go off on the Broncos.
  2. The Browns will probably do that but IMO they shouldn't Browns are eating $73M in cap the next 2 years for Watson PLUS $27M in void dead cap in 2027. They also already have $40M currently in Dead Money for 2025. $22M is for Cooper. https://www.spotrac.com/nfl/cleveland-browns/overview/_/year/2025 Drafting a QB in a weak class with NO MONEY is suicidal. I expect them to do that because they are idiots. They will not be able to field a competent team until 2027. Drafting a QB now is a waste of time IMO. They should trade the 2nd overall for 2026 picks and totally tank in 2025.
  3. "It's time to finish what "we" started". Those who know my posts might know whenever I speak of the team, I never use "we" or "us". I always say The Bills, or The Team. I never want to dilute the effort the players and coaches make. Micah's words make me feel different this time. For some reason I get a feeling this is the year. Everyone "eats" and "everyone" wins! "WE got this"! Go Bills.
  4. Every dollar in cap is needed next year. Anderson and Van Demark are both ERFAs. $2.2M gets them signed.
  5. At a minimum, Bills needed a camp leg at Punter. At best, he can do the job better than Martin for less cap. Reserve/Futures can start to be signed after the regular season and Beane no doubt wanted him at camp. He signed him before another team. Well done.
  6. The OP drops this turd and then never showed up again. It's a troll move. He's done this before I believe. He WAS on my ignore list, but I gave amnesty to all a while back. He will return to the ignore list with the other trolls.
  7. There was a restaurant called Bailos on Lovejoy and Bailey (burned down years ago) that supposedly served horse meat for their "Beef on Weck" dinners back in the old'en days. It was excellent. They also used beef gravy instead of au ju.
  8. Of course, but she probably hears a lot from the husband when he gets home.
  9. When players' wives start commenting on the leadership it must be bad. Poyer must have really gone through culture shock moving down there.
  10. Definitely not many good local specialties to speak of. There are some really good restaurants, but most of those are run by people who moved to Colorado. At least that is my experience.
  11. That got me ready. Go Bills.
  12. My reply was more in the order of a Seinfeld episode.
  13. Not that there is anything wrong with that.
  14. Well said. I grew up with my dad who tended to be somewhat negative about the Bills and a mother who would root for them to the bitter end. Maybe that's why I TRY to be somewhere in the middle. My dad passed away some years ago, but my 92-year-old mother never misses a game and still has hope. Last thing she said Sunday was, "that Mahomes has won enough.....it's our turn this year". She also won $25 on the 1st quarter squares from her senior community!
  15. Lots of Bronco fans here are really glad to see Bo Nix become a capable QB. They have been extremely worried about making the playoffs. They are relieved to get there after the last few weeks. They think that getting to the playoffs with a rookie QB is a great first step. Most are rational about the Bills game. Of course they are hopeful, but they know the situation. They have gone through a group of head coaches and quarterbacks in the last 9 years and believe they have that fixed. I think the team feels the same way and I bet they play loose with nothing to lose in Buffalo. Bills are probably aware of that. The 1st quarter will tell a lot. Exactly. It's been the mantra all season. Play calling got a little vanilla on both sides after the division was clinched. I'm expecting a different looking team then the one we've seen lately.
  16. I'm still thinking of a lot of great offensive plays earlier in the season that worked very well. Both in the running and passing game. Some were really good misdirection plays. Plays to Shakir/RBs/Kincaid and then not seen anymore I get a feeling some of these have been saved and will return during the playoffs. I'm hoping that not many will be needed in the Broncos game, but they are there if needed.
  17. I can see how fans would like to compare Coleman to Davis. As of now, statistics could give credence to that. The thing is I'm interested in how Coleman plays Sunday (and hopefully further in the playoffs). With the exception of his first season with the Bills, Diggs was a detriment to the offense the last 3 playoffs. Culminating to a 4.3 Yds/Tgt and 0 TDs last year. It's about the playoffs with this team. Everyone knows it. It's not about a meaningless game's statistics, like you said. I am hoping Coleman becomes Mr. January and takes us into February.
  18. Why? you ask omf?, it's the way of the world. Let's not stop on Spencer Brown. EVERY player on this team goes through this "process". It's not about anything to do with "reality". It's the "human nature" of many that subjects these players to these critiques. Fans today are bombarded with film clips, stats comparing every conceivable angle, and a myriad of opinions (many to just get attention) that all this is just "normal" today. I really don't like or understand why so many have a need to instantly predict the outcomes of everything. WE grew up in a world of football that was 2 games on Sunday. No sport channels, no YouTube, no "statistical" measurement (except basic numbers), no 25+ cameras filming every play, etc., etc., etc. The most awesome thing that we had in the '70s was "Football Digest" which got delivered on Thursdays. I would give my buddy Mark $.25 to read it after he was done! You wanted to see other teams highlights you got a couple of plays on "Alcoa" highlights. When HBO "Inside the NFL" came out we were "mesmerized". Opinions that generated "arguments" were started by a couple of newspaper men. Fans in the past just had the game to watch. Nowadays, fans are drawn into being a totally immersed 24/7 participants. It's truly a great thing and I love it BUT, it opens the door for everyone to be a critic of every little thing. For those (and there are many) who have a much deeper "knowledge" of the game than some of us, need to understand one thing. There are 32 teams full of people who know way more than you and they are WRONG a lot of times. That equates to you guys not always being right too! Although what I just typed is irrefutable, many think they are ALWAYS right on this board. I've had to learn to live with that. Bottom line, Keon Coleman is a ROOKIE drafted by the Buffalo Bills. He cannot be redrafted for some other's preferred player. Not one fan can say exactly what kind of receiver he will ultimately end up being for Josh Allen and this team. That's the facts, but many won't settle for just that. They have to become their own opinion generators. At the start of this season, I was all excited about the roll Ty Johnson COULD play and why I thought that. I was shot down by the majority of knowledgeable fans on this board who gave me an abundance of facts why I was wrong. Just because I was right and they were wrong about this "prediction", does not make me more knowledgeable about football than them. Simply that I was right, and they were wrong. The thing is that goes against "human nature". I'm not preaching to anyone oldmanfan. Just talking out loud to myself.
  19. Depends on how the contracts are wrote. Some are included in the cap hit and a lot are not. All this gets hashed out at the end of the season and an "adjustment" plus or minus is made to next year's cap.
  20. I'm sure Shavers would get elevated if that is the case.
  21. Buffalo winter weather is worse than Colorado. It's typically dry and sunny here in Colorado. The altitude makes the sun warm thing up quite well. One of the reasons I love it here. I'm banking on Bo Nix having the cold, wind, humidity, clouds and of course most importantly, the atmosphere of Highmark get him off his game.
  22. It's Colorado. The players, for the most part are acclimated to cold weather. The only thing in question weather wise is Bo Nix, but he played well in Denver yesterday in 30 degrees.
  23. My hope is no team wants to trade with the fish for him. Let all that tension and hate just percolate. If they elect to cut him, they will have to blow up the cap. It could get interesting.
