  1. Everyone is missing my point which seems so apparent. Mike White coming back in to play kept the Jets players hopes up and they kept the game close enough to have a chance right to the end. If he didn't come back in does anyone think Flacco would have done that?
  2. The Jets played a tough hard football game knowing their season could be on the line. The Bills are a better team and eventually won the game. It was a hell of a game.
  3. Mike White proved to me he is a stud. He put it all on the line knowing his team needed this win. It was pretty much a season "must win" game for the Jets. Sometimes I have to look at the other team's situation and not just from the point of view of a Bills fan.
  4. Sorry, I just logged back into the thread. half the posts on this "winning" thread are pissing and moaning.
  5. Yes. They might lose the last 4 games of the season. See how that works. That's why we watch.
  6. Well, a lot of fans on this board wanted the Bills to win close 1 score games. You got your wish.
  7. Just checking in. You guys doing, ok?
  8. Big game and the Bills need to be the pace car. A win gets them back to 2-2 and even in Division. 7-2 (best in Conference). Keeps them in the #1 seed and most importantly, puts all the pressure on the Chiefs and Fish later today. A win of any kind is all that is needed, BUT a resounding win will set the pace for the last 4 games! Go Bills!
  9. This is confusing to me. I watch the games because I'm a fan of the team. Agreeing or disagreeing with the coaching staff has no bearing on that.
  10. When the Bills take care of business today, it's down to 3 teams that only matter in the AFC. Chiefs, Dolphins and Bengals. Let's see if one or more can drop a game today.
  11. So, it's your contention that the Bills receivers (specifically Diggs, Davis and Knox) are lacking in football skills compared to the other teams WRs that you have observed. If I buy into your observations, what is your answer on how this can be rectified? Do you recommend Beane move on from some of these players? Is Chad Hall not the WR coach they need. Personally, I believe that the Bills have a pretty good WR room, and that Chad Hall is doing a good job. I do see adding some talent next year. One through the draft and one through FA.
  12. Agree, these 2 questions are probably going to be the key to every game left this year.
  13. I use pro football reference for most of my stats. The overall snaps for the Bills players is here. https://www.pro-football-reference.com/teams/buf/2022-snap-counts.htm If you click on the "player game by game" link you get this. https://www.pro-football-reference.com/players/S/ShakKh00/fantasy/2022
  14. He's got an average of over 30% of snaps in the last 2 games. That seems typical for a WR #4. I think he is coming around pretty good for a rookie and can see his role only going up from here.
  15. I highly doubt OBJ is willing to sign that contract. As to a doctor's examination telling how well a player returning from an ACL will play, I don't know if that is possible. You are speculating that OBJ will be somewhere between 80-90% with his play, but I see no evidence YET that he can. I guess if you were a GM you'd do a deal, I on the other hand wouldn't until I seen he can play this year.
  16. I'm in the "keep it at 10 yards" group. I'm old enough to remember this: https://www.footballzebras.com/2019/10/nfl100-90-year-old-rules-made-for-a-different-game/#:~:text=Big fouls %3D big yardage penalties&text=Up through 1977%2C a holding, was a 20-yard penalty! Big fouls = big yardage penalties Today, a holding penalty puts the offense in a difficult position to keep the drive alive. Up through 1977, a holding penalty almost assuredly killed a drive. A holding penalty used to be 15-yards, from the spot of the foul. So, if the offense held five yards behind the line of scrimmage, the hold actually was a 20-yard penalty! Starting in 1978, all illegal blocking fouls (except personal fouls) were reduced from 15 to 10 yard penalties.
  17. Good to hear Milano is practicing.
  18. He doesn't have to. Same goes for the teams. Do they have to sign him because he says he will be ready? It's a "buyer beware" situation. As to the contract terms, I see it the other way around. The amount he wants goes down every day he can't perform. How could it go up?
  19. I'm caught up on this thread and seeing what OBJ's expected timeline for return is, nothing has changed with me. I can't see signing any player until I see that he can work out to a satisfactory level. If he expects to be ready for the playoffs, he should be able to work out a few weeks earlier. So come back to town and show us when that happens. If he is too fragile to do that before the end of the month, he's not worth it for this year, IMO. The ball has been in his court this whole time on his recovery, it's not the other way around.
  20. @DrDawkinsteinis correct with his response. Both GoFundMe's were started by her best friend. The second was evidently started last week when they found out she would ultimately need an expensive wheelchair and van.
  21. I think he's got a good chance in this sport. Football? Not so much.
  22. 77 pages of the 107 were b-wording picking the wrong Josh.
  23. Is anyone shocked about this? I know I'm not.
  24. It was 50 degrees and no wind and a drizzle. Come on man, don't hit me with the negative waves!
