  1. I'm hoping that Poyer and Beane can come to an agreement for a 1-year deal in the offseason. $11M with $9M or so guaranteed and Beane pushes a chunk out with a void year. Jordan still can find a team to pay him some coin in 2024. He can't miss the chance to keep this thing going!
  2. Things are looking up regarding injuries the last couple of weeks. I'm hoping the trend keeps moving this way and the vast majority of guys can get healthy for the playoff push. We just now need to know what is going to happen to Ike B. in the next 2 days.
  3. So many of the "advanced stats" are subjective. Even hard stats can get lost in the context of how they are viewed. I like numbers so I look at them, but always with a grain of salt, merged with what I see with my own eyes.
  4. You do realize that SUNY boy joined the board on the Monday before the Browns game. I find these trolls that way all the time.
  5. Dear Santa, I've been a good boy and loyal Bills fan all my life. Can you put her in my stocking (or she can bring her own) for Christmas? ColoradoBills
  6. Pro Football Reference has Milano (Missed Tackles - 13.5%) a total of 12 missed tackles. Bills overall at 7.5%. https://www.pro-football-reference.com/teams/buf/2022_advanced.htm#all_advanced_defense
  7. Exactly. The fish players will be miserable enough with the heaters. Like Poyer said, in his interview, they don't like playing in the cold but they know how to do it. It is an advantage having more experience in anything and this weather is one of them.
  8. This stuff is getting funny. The Bills will be using heaters/heated benches. Period.
  9. The AAV will be fair for both sides. Next year's cap will be low as a lot of cash will go to signing bonus. I'm thinking it will be 5 years somewhere around $70M ($14M per year). 2023 cap hit around $8M.
  10. If he goes to season ending IR that will be unfortunate. The big question for me is if he is activated to the 53 and not ready to play yet, who do they cut to fit him in. I have to think cutting one of the Hart/Van Rotten is risky no matter how we view their play. There are a lot of injuries to OL around the league and I could see these "vets" having a good chance to get picked up on waivers. Ike right now is an unknown performance wise. The only other positions would be a DB or LB (Spector). Once Ike is back and performing well enough to merit it, I could see an OL getting cut to make room for one more WR.
  11. The mere fact that he has to bring this pathetic "proof" that he's good at it up, means it's already in his head.
  12. I guess you missed my point. Matt is around to make more tackles than any other defenseman on the Bills. Sometimes he is coming from across the field and if he misses 1 per game, I don't care. Fans can determine his worth any way they want. He's aces in my book.
  13. He played in 2 games with a total of 13 snaps. Of those 13 snaps he had 5 short pass play targets. I would say that TB OC didn't "hide" very well what they brought Cole in for.
  14. Lots of emotions last year. If things are OK with the management and the team, and Bease is good with everything, then it's all "water under the bridge" with me too. All I have left to say is work hard Cole and help the team to achieve its goal! Matt leads the team in solo tackles, and he also leads the team in TFL. This "statistical" talking point, that for some seem to think is a deficiency, is negligible to me. It averages 1 missed tackle per game. His positive impact both in TFLs, run stopping and pass defense far outweigh one miss a game. I'm not going to look up the stats and watch film, but I would say I imagine that of the 12 missed tackles (Pro Football Reference stats) there were plays that Matt flew at a guy and caused him to break off his play enough for another Bills defender to clean up the tackle. That's speculation on my part, but I think it's worth mentioning.
  15. I don't know. With all the old guys coming back maybe it's TO. LOL.
  16. Crank the visitor's room heat up all the way. Shock them!
  17. Glad I talked you into giving the "old man" a chance. OT: I'm going to bet that Cole Beasley's first catch will net more yards than OBJ gets this season. If that holds up, it was a good move.
  18. Josh in the Falcons game. For a comparison, Tua has never played a down in his entire life with a snowflake coming down.
  19. Cole Beasley was never on Tampa's 53. He was a PS player. https://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/2022/10/06/bucs-terminate-the-practice-squad-contract-of-cole-beasley/ Beasley, 33, is a free agent if he decides to unretire.
  20. This guy stole my stats from my post yesterday. OK which one of you guys is Sneaky Joe? Tua had 3 INTs in his only cold weather game in Buffalo. Saturday will be by far, the worst weather he has ever seen. It hasn't been discussed much around here, but Josh (and the Bills) have taken turnovers that were high earlier in the season, and cut them WAY down. If they do that again Saturday, I could see this being a big win. My "nice to see" prediction is a Tre White INT. It's going to fire him up.
  21. His cost is $19K a week. Can you at least wait 1 week before you send him to a farm upstate?
  22. Buffalo Sabres are the highest goal scoring team in the NHL! Get 2 goalies next season and it's on.
  23. Stop it. Bills are 10-1 the last 3 seasons in Highmark Stadium after Thanksgiving. Cold and bad weather affects BOTH teams. Bills are better at it.
