He @JGMcD2was correct in what went on with Hodgins and his status when the Bills let him go. I didn't want to get involved in your guy's conversation but now that you have, I will let you know something about the PS rules. While it's true that some PS players can be protected, it's not in the way a lot of fans think. Every week, every PS player can be claimed by any team (as long as that team is not playing the team of the player). Even "protected players" that are designated could have been claimed the day before they are protected. Like I've stated before, I wish Hodgins was kept. Heck, I thought he should have made the 53 right out of camp.

So, reading the board, we lost again. 3-11. Sigh.

I'm not leaving the board. Just staying away from the cesspool in the Gameday Threads. They got to be too much. -
I'm not a Kumerow hater but I believed (and still do believe) Hodgins had a lot more upside. Too much ST worth for Kumerow. Giants took over that contract from the Bills. The 2-year deal is a normal reserve/futures contract that he signed in Jan of this year. I'm not sure if that is correct in Spotrac since he was cut in September and then signed to the PS.

You're stronger than I am Muppy. I refuse to subject myself to the childish emotions anymore on the GDTs. -
Beane didn't want to get rid of Hodgins. He did get greedy thinking he could clear waivers.

Wow. Ike was a starter for the Bills from Game 7 until his injury.

NFL Week #15 - Playoff seeding version - Chiefs @ Texans

I will alert the media! -
Everyone has their ideas of what it the priority for next season. You want a WR in the 1st round and seem pretty positive that the OL doesn't need "that much" next year. Under contract for 2023. Morse - Last year of his contract. He is an injury risk always. Dawkins - Yes, a starting LT. Bates - Average OG. Brown - Below average RT. May never get better but you take a big risk penciling him in as a starter next year. Doyle - An unknown. This to me, screams OL as #1 pick and probably a #3. Josh needs protection and to know who his new center will be after Morse. Then, a WR in the second round, is my answer.

I’m starting to get extremely frustrated with Dorsey.

I thought that Beane did enough to put together a decent (not great) OL together this year. I didn't work out that way and now he MUST get some long-term talent in next year's draft. -

It starts and ends with the OL IMO. A better OL helps the running game and if Josh has a bit more time the passing game is almost unstoppable. Does Dorsey need to get better in scheming and play calling? Yes. Could the Bills use some better "skill players"? Yes. Could the above 2 points be less critical with a better OL? YES. I'm not one to doubt Brandon Beane very often, but OL has to be the number one position group to fix in the offseason. -
If we must criticize, how 'bout Cam Lewis gets his share?
ColoradoBills replied to Beck Water's topic in The Stadium Wall
He hardly played on D last season and was thrown in to start this season. He is no Micah Hyde but still can improve. S/FS position he is covering is a critical position in Frazier's D. He will be fighting for a starter job for 2024. -

Cam is an undersized utility DB. The punt play was horrible but even without that he needs to be giving up his roster spot on the 53 to either Ike or Beasley. -

I had to log off this site yesterday during the 3rd quarter. Every time I read a post in the GDT it was crazy negative. Teenage girls have more internal fortitude then some of the men on this board. My apologies to teenage girls. -
