  1. When I cut the cord, one reason I didn't get YouTube TV is that lack of the Bloomberg Channel. I do my own financial planning and I am a Bloomberg junkie. It's the reason I have Sling TV. The good news is I just found out for Roku users (not sure about others) is a free channel called "News World" which has Bloomberg Channel Live for free! If I have to move over to YouTube TV for football purposes (still hoping I can get it as a stand-alone package) at least I can get my Bloomberg!
  2. I do the same thing when streaming Sunday Ticket thru my Roku stick and watching blacked out games with my over the air antenna.
  3. With all the earlier injuries to DBs there is now 11 healthy ones on the roster. One of them will get cut. I see Cam Lewis as the odd man out, even before his poor Saturday performance.
  4. The way BB has the team positioned it will take years to break Shula's record. Robert Kraft has a business decision to make. If he can't make it, he at least has to name a GM to make it for him. Does his allegiance lie with Bill or the fans?
  5. Rich Eisen does a better job than Rome on the play and the weekend IMO. LOL.
  6. PS player don't get bumped in pay for a one game elevation. Vet PS players get paid more per week than non-vets. The thing about Beasley is if he gets signed to the 53 he would make $150k or so. I still think he gets put on the 53 if he plays well Saturday.
  7. Brown also lost time with a knee injury and a back problem last year. He is still really green. I hope for the best for Mitch and it's up to him how much more he plays. Lots of folks want Bates as the future center but I prefer a true drafted college center who is trained in the intellectual part of the position. I'm not saying Bates can't, he just spent his college and most of his pro career moving all over the place. Put him at LG where he excels. Draft a RG. 2 OL picks are not too much to ask to protect Josh and let him have time to throw.
  8. After the trade deadline all cut players go thru waivers regardless of years of service.
  9. This may be the answer to the "Is Hurts a true MVP?" question. It will be interesting to see how the Eagles play without him.
  10. I have to disagree. There is still 11 DBs and Tre is doing well. One will go and Bease gets signed. I'm sticking with that. 3 games left and Bease will play in all 3.
  11. He was scaring me Saturday. The shotgun kneel down was all I needed to see.
  12. A DB has to go when they sign Bease. I think it will be Cam even before the punt play fiasco. I think he's a good guy but too undersized and not fast enough to compensate for it.
  13. Getting the ball into Josh's hands on the snap helps too.
  14. It sure would be nice if Phillips gets healthy and makes an impact from now thru the playoffs.
  15. Cam will get cut when Beasley goes on the 53.
  16. It's not the players. It's the coaching staff with gameplans and calls/decisions that can tank a game.
  17. Exactly. The Colts, Falcons, Panthers and Saints are all just behind them.
  18. The Buffalo Bills are one win from the Division Championship and three games from the AFC #1 Seed. They will not take this game lightly. It's all in to win this one and take a mini-break after. With 3 wins the Bears are locked into the #2 overall pick in the draft. Winning games this late in the year only hurts them.
  19. His broken foot has never healed correctly, and his frequent history of hamstrings has left him crippled for playing further in the NFL as a competent WR. He can't even stay on a team that needs all the WR help it can get.
  20. You may end up being right, but I doubt Beane is thinking that after the play of the OL this year. I do have to say that "3 years of bad OLines" is not correct IMO. The lines in 2020 and 2021 were better than this year's. As to the offensive skill positions, I maintain that the OL is playing bad enough to hamper the play of the current group the Bills have. Giving Josh on average, a bit more time, would fix most of the issues we've seen this year. You can't count on Josh running around like a mad man every game. Even bad opposing DLs are causing problems. When Josh has time in the pocket, he is almost unstoppable. What I see doesn't seem that complicated. Next year move Bates back to LG where he has played his best ball next to Dawkins. Draft a day one starting RG and solidify that position for the future. Draft Morse's replacement and have him acclimate to take over in 2024. I can't see Morse playing in 2024 and if he does the rookie could wait another year. Josh has to have a good C. That gives 4 of the 5 starters and Morse's replacement taken care of. Brown needs to improve, and you got to bring in a journeyman vet to give him some camp competition and then for depth. Re-sign Ike for swing guard is they think he can handle it. Doyle is in the mix so you're down to one other depth player. So, I believe 2OL, 1WR and a S with the first 4 picks is what's needed next year. After that, Beane can do whatever he wants.
  21. I sure wish that Tre would have held on to that "almost" INT. It would have gone far in getting his confidence back from being gone for so long. Maybe this Saturday!
  22. BB and the Patriots final play was so bad the Buffalo Bills were awarded a 3rd Round Compensatory Pick!
  23. Kelly slung it around pretty good in -20 wind chill against the Raiders in the playoffs.
  24. Agree. I'll add every player would rather play at home and every home field has nuances that the home team knows best. Those are the playing surface, wind, sun/shade and all the other little things like sleeping in your own bed. I'll take home field with bad weather every time.
