I tend to agree with this option. I think it is the fairest way to go forward. I would even go so far as to say that a way could be figured out to give the Bengals a slight (over 50%) chance to win the game due to the fact they were leading in the game. 11 Bengals balls and 9 Bills balls in the Lotto machine type situation and go on with the season. This is not unprecedented in sports, as one could look to the NHL Draft. The only question left would be, does the Lottery happen before or after this weekend's games.

We don't know the details of the medical personnel and trainers who assisted Damar last night. These men and women are highly trained and from the reports they were quick to act. Unlike other medical professionals who deal with these emergencies daily, this had to be traumatic for them being thrust into last night's situation. I also imagine the Bengals Trainers and Medical Staff were involved. I just wanted to acknowledge and thank them in total as I looked up their names on the Bills website. Athletic Trainers: Nate Breske: Head Athletic Trainer Denny Kellington: Assistant Athletic Trainer Joe Micca: Rehabilitation Coordinator - Physical Therapist Tabani Richards: Assistant Athletic Trainer Also, we don't know which team physicians were present for the road game. Medical Staff Dr. Leslie Bisson: Medical Director Dr. Andrew Cappuccino: Team Orthopedist - Spine Dr. Marc Fineberg: Team Orthopedist Dr. Mark Kim: Team Internist Dr. Tom White: Team Internist

I'm speculating, but the owners were there too and seen what happened and talked to their coaches and players. Then it was reported they visited with each other. I'm willing to bet they will have a say in it. I have some faith in what you say. As emotional of a guy that Terry Pegula is I'm sure Mike Brown will look at Damar and the Bills players and do what he thinks is right. I bet Terry is a wreck.

Coy Wire reports on CNN that Troy Vincent (Executive Vice President of Football Operations) implemented some sort of emergency protocol and that he told both teams to go to the locker rooms to access the situation. Both Head Coaches then reported back after some time went by that the players of both teams were too traumatized to play the game. The NFL then postponed the game. Reported most of the Bills flew home and a group is staying with Damar. Troy was again very emotional in telling what the players are feeling. FWIW.

First off, thank you for your post. This is my 1st post since the injury. This is unprecedented and the responses from some fans and tweets we are seeing are just out of line. During this tragic moment it just seems in bad taste to do these quick "hot takes" one way or the other. It took me a lifetime to know that sometimes the best thing to do is wait and take some breathes. Something we are waiting to see if Damar can do on his own. That's what is important. I'll just wait for hopefully good news and do wish to stay on this board to stand watch with Buffalo Bills fans. I will say I'm proud of Head Coach Sean McDermott and the Buffalo Bills Team on how they handled things.

I want to see him back next year. It will unfortunately depend on the length and AAV. I think he compromises a bit to stay.

If we are looking at money, "base salary" is meaningless. Po is on his last year of his contract extension. It's high because most of the guaranteed money was already paid up in cap. As to cap hit, $2.6M is pushed from last year when he restructured to free up cap space. In Poyer's 6 years playing for the Bills his cost averages to $5.8M per year. Bills got a pretty good deal for their money!

Daniel Jones receives standing ovation from Giants fans
ColoradoBills replied to Beck Water's topic in The Stadium Wall
I think once again that Spotrac is pretty close to what Daniel Jones is worth to the NY Giants. $25.5M per year on a 3 year "prove you can do it contract" is pretty fair for both sides. Add some playoff and individual stat incentives and Jones and his agent should go for it. A 3-year contract for the Giants lets them get out after next year if they had to. They have zero chance for a rookie, and they can't take the risk of missing out on the couple of worthy FAs next season. https://www.spotrac.com/nfl/new-york-giants/daniel-jones-29041/market-value/ -
1/2/23 Week 17 Gameday Bills @ Bengals Pregame Thread
ColoradoBills replied to Chandler#81's topic in The Stadium Wall
GAMEDAY BILLS FANS! What a great morning to be a fan of the Buffalo Bills! This is the game we have been waiting for to take that huge step to the #1 seed. This is what we all hoped for back in September. Big games mean you need your big players to step up and get it done. But let's not forget that big plays can come from anyone. TEAMS win football games, and we need the whole TEAM to get it done and come home with the W! GO BILLS! -
