  1. Come on. Cam Lewis was no doubt already told as an RFA he wouldn't get a tender (and he didn't). His agent probably knew that if Cam couldn't find another team the Bills would bring him to camp on a vet minimum deal. Cam and his agent jumped on it. This signing means nothing. Beane wasn't worried one way or another about Cam Lewis.
  2. We will have to wait to hear Beane speak on him. I for one am not sold on Bates moving to C. He's capable as a backup but I don't think he is a starter. If McGovern has a better shot at the C next year (I think it's Morse's last season) that could be an option. I still think a college RT who can move to RG may be the pick that is smart this year.
  3. The guy started the season with a bad ankle and was used in multiple positions on an injury riddled Cowboy line last year. I think Bills fans should wait at least until camp to trash him. LOL. His PFF numbers in 2021 were better btw.
  4. The Bills need to get at least 1 this year and another next year.
  5. No, but Poyer, Phillips, Singletary and others will get signed.
  6. The Bills and the Chiefs are spending the same amount of money on the OL this season (so far).
  7. Camp body who hopefully ends up on the PS. Nothing to see here. He was a RFA who wasn't given a tender. I say vet minimum deal with a tiny signing bonus.
  8. Yes, but now fans can see that Beane couldn't do that money. OL and get 2 WRs (1 draft/1FA).
  9. The team I thought would sign him did. Let's see the money. I said the floor was $15M.
  10. He most likely needs a fully healthy year to see what he is. IMO, Josh Allen can move away from a RT pressure pretty easy. His problem is when the DTs are in his face and the LDE keeps him from flushing out to the right and running up the middle. I haven't given up on Spencer Brown and if the other 4 can give Josh protection he'll be ok.
  11. After the OL signings today (so far). The Bills and Chiefs are spending the same amount of money on the OL.
  12. https://www.spotrac.com/nfl/buffalo-bills/nyheim-hines-25205/ It's looking like a 1-year deal that will have to wait to see if they keep him in 2024. I think that has more to do with our OC than Nyhiem.
  13. He would average $20M per for the 4 years left. Most likely BS but the site would crash if it happened.
  14. LOL. I was just going to reply the exact same thing. Just about every team has holes to fill and has to put money where they think it needs to go.
  15. Morse is playing this year. The time to move on is next March. I have to admit I'm not sold on Bates at C. I want to see how McGovern does in camp.
  16. If that is truly their thought process, then Beane has to draft another OL player this year. Maybe a college RT that could move to RG. It would be great if he can find that kind of guy in the 3rd. He wouldn't need to immediately start this year.
  17. He started 2022 with an ankle injury and was also moved around the line from C to G with all of the Cowboys OL injuries.
  18. Good. It's time for a younger backup QB. Hopefully one that fits and stays for a while.
  19. It has to be. Bills got the G from Dallas.
  20. He's a good young IOL who has had a number of injuries. My hope is that those injuries end in Buffalo. Good swing of the bat by Beane.
  21. Exactly. The money isn't crazy and it's all about how he fits/performs. Way to go Beane, I hope this is a hit!
  22. Davenport and Onyemata also are costing them $18M in dead money this year! That's a great "system" they got going on there.
