  1. Wow, I just thought of Dalton and Harty rotation. Those opposing styles could cause some D confusion.
  2. I can see your point. I also think there could be a lot of ways to use both together. It's intriguing and I will have to YouTube a lot of videos of how to use this type of combination TEs. Need OL and MLB tomorrow IMO.
  3. You know I thought the same thing when I was considering one of these top TEs potentially being drafted. The thing is, if Dorsey can't get the ball to Kincaid then he is not the OC the Bills need. I was critical at times in his rookie OC year but he now is a vet so he has to do the job. Additional comment: As to the talk about Kincaid and his lack of blocking. If he is indeed going to play the role Beane has already talked about I would venture to say he will be a better blocker than McKenzie and Beasley!
  4. When they showed the Dallas War Room, they didn't look happy. New Orleans was also mocked often taking a TE. Well I tried to offer an option. Carry on with your anger.
  5. Why are you so angry? If you are a Bills fan you should wait to see what happens with this pick.
  6. Could be Kincaid was the TE that both Cowboys and Bengals wanted.
  7. He's now on my ignore list never to return.
  8. Damn, I was wanting Houston to trade up with the Bills with their 2nd rounder.
  9. Melissa is bigger than him!
  10. I did that too. But starting the new year I gave "amnesty" to everyone. Many have been reinstated since. Anyone tipping will immediately be put on "permanent, double secret probation"!
  11. To paraphrase what Mr. Vargas said as the students from Richmont High entering the morgue, "I ask you all to behave with the utmost maturity".
  12. Fast forward! Never play this again.
  13. I totally agree it's a tough year to trade back. I personally would like to see that happen, so I started a thread to see if there are any reasonable situations where it could happen. I used the TE stuff because between the Cowboys, Bengals and Saints they have a lot of mocks drafting TEs. @GunnerBilland I had an exchange that maybe one of the CBs (evidently better in this draft) might fall and someone could trade up to get one. The only other plausible scenario I have is from Seattle and Houston. They both have LOTS of picks and each team might want to make a splash by trading up to "be the talk of the draft". Bills could be in a spot for that to happen. I know it's all a long shot.
  14. Agree with everything. Ravens had to do the longer term. They will have an out in 3 years or so I bet. Lamar is a good QB, but he does have to show he can stay healthy and win in the playoffs.
  15. You guys are talking about 2 different Raven offers. The fully guaranteed was 3 years. He had an offer right after Josh signed that he turned down too.
  16. These options I did not consider. Thanks for your input!
  17. Haven't thought of that. Something to watch for. Guys on NFLN saying options for them if they don't go QB at 4.
  18. Going back to the day before the rookie wage scale would be Chaos.
  19. Another potential trade partner could be the Texans. They will take the QB and I believe a WR with their early 1st rounders. They may want to make a big splash in the draft and take a DE if one of their liking is available. They have way too many pick to bring in all these rookies. They make a trade somewhere. Houston (Pick #33 and #104-Top of 4th round) for Bills Pick #27.
  20. It's really the only way I would want to get Hopkins. IF these GMs know more about the cap increase more than us, I can see that happening.
  21. Still thinking Beane would like to trade back if he doesn't have a clear choice. I'll start off with a very simple one. Saints (Pick #29) seem to want a TE. So does Cincinatti (Pick #28) with the pick directly ahead of them. I can see the Saints giving up #146 (5th round) and #257 (7th round) to move up 2 spots to jump the Bengals. This would even be more likely IF Dallas does not take a TE with Pick #26. I know lots of fans want a TE in the draft. I just think Beane takes one in Day 3. What are your possible partners?
  22. It's a weak draft and reaching for any player by position is risky at best. I do agree with the OP that the OL is the weak spot for the offense. Pick #27 is in a tough spot and I'm hoping Beane can stay fluid enough to get the best out of it.
  23. That's kind of how I see it but what is confusing is the cap hit vs. the cash hits to the team. @BADOLBILZhad a post as I was typing mine which kind of clears up some of that (I think LOL). Just another general point. I totally disagree with all this "Green Bay" did well in this trade. It's bull. IF they were not bullied by Rodgers into signing the extension, Rodgers will still be under the old contract this year with next to nothing in dead cap. They could have been in a position to trade Rodgers (with one year left on his contract) to anyone who wanted him without taking on any real dead cap. Green Bay paid a lot of cash and a lot of dead cap for those draft picks. All this moving around of money has also caused them to have a $40M cap hit next year for the 33-year-old LT David Bakhtiari. Like the devil, the true cost of all this is in the details.
