  1. It would have to be a 6th round sleeper that they can stash on the PS. That's the only way I can see it done. Actually, not a bad idea IF one of those types are around.
  2. Agree that Beane has plenty of moves this year. Spotrac has $10M under the cap but a lot of contracts still need to get on the books. When the dust settles, Dion's and another player or 2 will need to restructure to get under.
  3. Josh's contract is interesting. I have never seen a QB contract quite like it before. I was thinking they were getting big cap relief this year, but they seem to be setting this up for a later extension which will carry all the dead cap when Josh is no longer playing. It's like the cap hits are "pay as you go". Set up for Josh vs the Cap % to stay low. Probably a good idea.
  4. 6'1" 215 lbs. College stats. https://www.sports-reference.com/cfb/players/shaun-dolac-1.html
  5. Agree. Vet minimum(ish). LOL. What is it with the Charger connection this year!
  6. The offense is bringing back the vast majority of players from last year. The couple of new WR players will be an overall plus. Coleman and Samuel should increase some in worth. Continuity will help with the OL and run game. Another year under his belt will help Brady in his development. The defense is a work in progress. I am seeing some pluses but still needs more work. If the D can shave some yards and points off from last year it will make a huge difference overall.
  7. That is hard to believe. If true, Beane needs to restructure a bunch of players to get under the cap.
  8. Maybe Kupp can get them to 6 wins this year. They still can sign players, just not with the $52M in dead cap.
  9. Generally soft spoken in his first presser. Not what I would have imagined. I liked it. Welcome to Buffalo Joey! Go Bills.
  10. Not a lot of quality left in the FA market. I'm hoping Beane is looking in the trade route. I would even look to trading a player in a package or player for player deal.
  11. They drafted a S in the 2nd round in 2023 and got Jeremy Chinn in FA in 2024. He was odd man out with the new HC/DC.
  12. Cook can't hold out the entire season. He's still on a rookie contract. It would mean he only would have 3 years accrued. He wouldn't be an UFA next year. He would be an RFA.
  13. #208 for what I seen. The last one.
  14. LOL. I still have a Warning Point since Covid. None of the Mods know how to get rid of it.
  15. Hi Ogie! Buy you a soda after the game.
  16. From Google AI. In most cases, NFL teams can initiate a simple contract restructure, converting salary to a signing bonus, without the player's explicit agreement, as the player doesn't typically lose any money, but may need a player's consent for renegotiation or "maximum restructures". Here's a more detailed explanation: Unilateral Restructures: Teams often have the ability to unilaterally execute simple restructures, which involve converting part of a player's base salary to a signing bonus. Player Consent: While teams can execute simple restructures without asking the player, a maximum restructure typically involves a renegotiation of the contract and requires the player's consent. Why Players Typically Agree: Restructures usually don't result in a player earning less money; they're an accounting maneuver that helps the team manage its salary cap by spreading payments over the remaining contract years.
  17. Of course. Just like they knew they'd be taking and adjustment hit of $7M for Von's sacks.
  18. I'm going to hope that the 5th round pick this year ends up being a long-time impactful starter. It would lessen the blow of the 1st round bust.
  19. I have been waiting for this. I knew it was going to be high. It is mainly the NLTBE sack bonus for Von Miller. It's what I was figuring on.
  20. I kind of meant IF they don't take one on Day 2, Day 3 is a sure thing. I would think they would like to wait until Day 3.
  21. I would almost bet on a Day 3 pick.
  22. Someone on X is wrong. I'm shocked, shocked I tell you. Thanks for the numbers!
