"When I put on the pads...... it's time to get violent." LF may have the personality to push this DL into a tougher mode. Well, that's my wish starting with Aaron and the Jets.

Allen's Elbow Still an Issue?
ColoradoBills replied to Never NEVER Give-up's topic in The Stadium Wall
It's gone gammy. -
Two week training camp predictions
ColoradoBills replied to Ethan in Cleveland's topic in The Stadium Wall
Maybe Boogie's fit would be best as a DE in a 3-4 D? -
I was in error on my comment in another thread. PUP is only 4 weeks mandatory to start the season for Von not 6. I still think Von should take September off.

I'm still hopeful for improvement.

THANKS for 25 years of the Stadium Wall, TBD!

I was one of the "displaced" Bills fans after the closing of BBMB. If I knew this place existed, I would have "defected" years earlier. -
What team has the best NFL message board in the world?
ColoradoBills replied to Simon's topic in The Stadium Wall
Nope. Don't forget the other side of that coin. EVERYONE SUCKS. -
Heard a lot last season that Spencer has a pretty good run blocking game. A good threat of the running game will help the passing game too.

What team has the best NFL message board in the world?

This board is the best except for GDTs! LOL. -
He also would take a $323k dead cap hit if cut. He makes the team unless he plays extremely poorly through the camp/preseason. It's those 6 and the real battle is for PS spots.

It's all about Von and the PUP status. I can't see Von being ready for the Jets. So, when is he realistically expected to be back? The only other game I'd like to see him in for during the first 6 weeks is the Miami game in Week 4. The early schedule is set up pretty good to let him recover fully. I say keep Von on PUP for 6 weeks and get him 100%. Keeping the other 10 gives flexibility against injury and a decision can be made then. Who knows after 6 weeks what team could be hurting on DL and the possible trade value could increase.

Not in my courtroom.

Is Matt Barkley a better fit than Kyle Allen in this offense?
ColoradoBills replied to Tipster19's topic in The Stadium Wall
I had hopes that Kyle Allen could secure a backup role not only for this year but for future years. It has been reported that he is struggling. I'm going to watch the preseason games and see if he can produce before making any final decision on him. -
His jobs went from Asst Secondary coach to Safety coach now to LB coach. He seems to be getting groomed in my mind. If I compare him to the other D coaches, he seems the strongest candidate for DC if McDermott stay in-house. if it did happen, only time would tell if he excelled. I do like to listen to him in his pressers. I like his knowledge, passion and straight forwardness.

Wouldn't surprise me in the least to see Babich take over the DC position in the near future.

Alvin Kamara suspended 3 games by the league.
ColoradoBills replied to Gregg's topic in The Stadium Wall
That's a shame. -
They are all the "same" size wise. Which brings me to a question. Beane and McDermott seem to have purposely done this. It's a completely different profile from what they had with Edmunds. IF they knew that Edmunds was most likely to command more $s then they could afford it shows me that a change in "scheme" for the MLB was considered. So, the question I have for those who know more is this. What kind of "hybrid" scheme could they be considering? Having McDermott taking over the D could also give this idea credence. I had thought the maybe the MLB role would be platooned depending on down and distance and opponents' personnel and habits. If that is true, the only thing that would confuse me is who then wears the green dot helmet because the MLB would be a constant variable. I can't help but wonder why Beane and McDermott have "broke the mold" on the standard LB body type, but it does seem to be a conscious decision.

Outside of MLB, Where are the Bills Worse in 2023?
ColoradoBills replied to jwhit34's topic in The Stadium Wall
I'm fairly certain Dion Dawkins will be ready for the season. Vets like him and Morse are not going 100% during camp like some UDFA. Nor should they. It's a long season. Dion's contract is up after next year and I could see a LT drafted in the near future. -
I'll drink one for Marv today. Way to go you horse's ass!
