Welcome aboard Rasul. Hope this trade turns into a good one. He has 9 picks (2 for TDs) and 2 FF in 2021-2022. Be pretty great if he can keep that up in Buffalo. Been in GB so he should be accustomed to the cold.

Week 8 - Around the NFL (i.e. NOT a Bills thread please)
ColoradoBills replied to aristocrat's topic in The Stadium Wall
It's one of those games where I'm happy to watch it no matter what happens. I probably will pick a team I want to lose more than the other during the game. Can't lose. -

Not specifically talking about SF. Every team can lose on any week. Winning is not easy in the NFL. -

Three weeks ago, the football world (and a whole lot of posters on this board) had the 49ers walking to the Superbowl. Maybe it's best for everyone to just watch the games and see what happens. -

Hot take regarding McDermott and the end of games
ColoradoBills replied to Steptide's topic in The Stadium Wall
You do bring up a point that does have merit. The thing about this team is I'm not really sure when it comes to the offense how much McDermott is involved in the TOs or the play calls. On defense I will admit I think he takes too many time outs, but I do see a trend near the end of the game when the D has been on the field a long time, he is prone to take one during critical plays. That being said, I think McDermott is a smart coach, but I do question whether he always makes the right choices during critical moments. Ther are a lot of moments that even casual football fans would have acted (or not acted) better. All that said, I believe McDermott would be well advised to have an analytic and trustworthy voice in his ear to give him the other point of view that may counteract his trends. That should also be the same voice in Dorsey's ear. The shotgun play call inside the 1 was insane. It's a trend I truly wish would be addressed. -
I have no problem with fans being critical of the team. The "hyper-critical" fans can get me upset at times, but I can live with that too. There are many times every game I find myself saying, "What the hell are they doing!" What gets me (especially during the GDTs) are the posters who take pure pleasure in any negative play. What seems to happen next is the "misery loves company" bandwagon jumping that ensues. It's mindboggling how many seem to enjoy this. I can only assume that these posters are trolls, fans of other teams, embittered Buffalo Bills fans from the past or just people wanting to spread misery to others. I tend to avoid these types of people in the "real" world and thankfully have the "ignore" function to avoid them here. Buffalo Bills football has been entertainment for me for many, many, many decades and I like to share that with family, friends and other like-minded fans. I also don't like being around people in a movie theater bitching about a movie they don't like. If you don't like something, you don't have to watch, but at least have some courtesy to the other who do. This seems to be lacking in today's "it's all about me" world. If you are a person who agrees with me, take heart. There are way more of us than them. If you are a person who doesn't like what I just said, no problem. You too can eventually join the others (and probably yourself under another username) on my ignore list or simply put me on yours. One thing for certain is I won't let them ruin my time on this site. As always, Go Bills!

Enjoy your anger at the team. I'm happy they won. Nuf said.

It runs as many seconds off the clock before the kick. Once in a while a team does jump. Someday they will snap the ball while the D is asleep, but you don't do that against the NFC Tampa team. Dig it.
-
The offense should have made a 1st down in 3 downs. It also wasn't a 4th and 1's. What if they didn't pick up the 1st? The D is in even a worse position.

Don't let these posters bait you. Punting was the right thing to do. They come out in droves for the GDT.

Hey Fitz, Show me your Titz. LOL

It is.

You don't use that against an NFC Tampa Bay team.
