The O line had a ton of penalties. They aren’t terrible, but they aren’t very good, either. Running is partially a way to compensate for O line breakdown.

CGF brings civility, decency, humor, and intelligence to this place. You definitely raise the averages among all posters in those categories. I call that a good thing.

When the offense has multiple three-and-out drives, the defense gets tired. The fourth quarter would be ugly.

All of you posting above me seem to have fun things to do. For me, most holidays involve going to my bickering in-laws and sitting around in a crowded small house without enough comfortable furniture while trying not to get annoyed. The food is always late, but my mother in law is a good cook, which is the only consolation. My kids have grown up hating holidays. My wife doesn’t get it. It all seems normal to her.

I’ll grab one ankle and get ready to make a wish. Who wants to grab the other? Happy Thanksgiving to all my imaginary internet friends. And I’m thankful for SDS and everyone else who makes this place possible.

Tight end is a position that has seen an increase in importance lately. Big, strong, always open because of his size. Can block if necessary. A safe space for millennial quarterbacks. Clay doesn’t really have the impact of a really good tight end, and he is never 100% healthy. He seems like a good guy. I would keep him for leadership if his cap hit is manageable, but if there is any concern with money, I’d cut him and save the money.
