  1. Whenever I take a picture of a document, I use a desk lamp and a bright overhead light. I move everything around until the shadow is mostly gone.
  2. Tall and tan and young and lovely The girl from Ipanema goes walking And when she passes, each one she passes goes ah When she walks, she's like a samba That swings so cool and sways so gentle That when she passes, each one she passes goes ooh But I watch her so sadly How can I tell her I love her Yes I would give my heart gladly But each day, when she walks to the sea She looks straight ahead, not at me
  3. I think it's so groovy now That people are finally getting together I thinks it's so wonderful and how That people are finally getting together Reach out in the darkness Reach out in the darkness Reach out in the darkness And you may find a friend I knew a man that I did not care for And then one day this man gave me a call We sat and talked about things on our mind And now this man he is a friend of mine
  4. Way down yonder on the Chattahoochee It gets hotter than a hoochie coochie We laid rubber on the Georgia asphalt We got a little crazy but we never got caught Down by the river on a Friday night A pyramid of cans in the pale moonlight Talking 'bout cars and dreaming 'bout women Never had a plan just a livin' for the minute Yeah way down yonder on the Chattahoochee Never knew how much that muddy water meant to me But I learned how to swim and I learned who I was A lot about livin' and a little 'bout love
  5. I'll light the fire You put the flowers in the vase that you bought today Staring at the fire for hours and hours while I listen to you Play your love songs all night long for me, only for me Come to me now and rest your head for just five minutes, everything is good Such a cozy room, the windows are illuminated by the Sunshine through them, fiery gems for you, only for you Our house is a very, very, very fine house with two cats in the yard Life used to be so hard Now everything is easy 'cause of you
  6. The sound of your footsteps Telling me that you're near Your soft gentle motion, babe It brings out a need in me that nobody hears, except In my midnight confessions When I tell all the world that I love you In my midnight confessions When I say all the things that I want to I love you There's a little gold ring you wear on your hand makes me understand There's another before me, you'll never be mine I'm wasting my time
  7. Pretty women out walking with gorillas down my street From my window I'm staring while my coffee grows cold Look over there! (Where?) There's a lady that I used to know She's married now, or engaged, or something, so I am told Is she really going out with him? Is she really gonna take him home tonight? Is she really going out with him? Cause if my eyes don't deceive me, There's something going wrong around here
  8. She's a good girl, loves her mama Loves Jesus and America too She's a good girl, she's crazy 'bout Elvis Loves horses and her boyfriend too And it's a long day livin' in Reseda There's a freeway runnin' through the yard And I'm a bad boy, 'cause I don't even miss her I'm a bad boy for breakin' her heart And I'm free Free fallin' Yeah I'm free Free fallin'
  9. Every night on my knees I pray, dear Lord, hear my plea Don't ever let another take her love from me or I would surely die Her love is heavenly, when her arms enfold me I hear a tender rhapsody, but in reality she doesn't even know me Just my imagination once again runnin' way with me Tell you it was just my imagination runnin' away with me
  10. The tears were beginning to show As he drove away on that rainy night, I begged him to go slow, whether he heard, I'll never know Look out! Look out! Look out! I felt so helpless, what could I do Remembering all the things we'd been through? In school they all stop and stare I can't hide the tears, but I don't care I'll never forget him, the leader of the pack

Sixteen candles make a lovely light But not as bright as your eyes tonight Blow out the candles Make your wish come true For I'll be wishing that you love me too You're only sixteen but you're my teenage queen You're the prettiest, the loveliest girl I've ever seen Sixteen candles in my heart will glow Forever and ever For I love you so
  16. Big Sam left Seattle in the year of ninety-two With George Pratt his partner and brother Billy too They crossed the Yukon river and they found the bonanza gold Below that old white mountain Just a little south-east of Nome Sam crossed the Majestic mountains to the valleys far below He talked to his team of huskies As he mushed on through the snow With the northen lights a-runnin' wild In the land of the midnight sun Yes Sam McCord was a mighty man In the year of nineteen-one Where the river is windin' big nuggets they're findin' North to Alaska go north the rush is on North to Alaska go north the rush is on
  17. It was 1989, my thoughts were short my hair was long Caught somewhere between a boy and man She was seventeen and she was far from in-between It was summertime in Northern Michigan Ahh Ahh Ahh Ahh Ahh Ahh Splashing through the sand bar Talking by the campfire It's the simple things in life, like when and where We didn't have no internet But man I never will forget The way the moonlight shined upon her hair And we were trying different things We were smoking funny things Making love out by the lake to our favorite song Sipping whiskey out the bottle, not thinking 'bout tomorrow Singing Sweet home Alabama all summer long Singing Sweet home Alabama all summer long
  18. Dance hall girls were the evening treat Empty cartridges and blood lined the gutters of the street Men were shot down for the sake of fun Or just to hear the noise of their 44 guns And there's fire on the mountain Lightening in the air Gold in them hills and it's waiting for me there Now my widow, she weeps by my grave Tears flow free for her man she couldn't save Shot down in cold blood by a gun that carried fame All for a useless and no good worthless claim
  19. My love is alive Way down in my heart Although we are miles apart If you ever need a helping hand I'll be there on the double Just as fast as I can Don't you know that there Ain't no mountain high enough Ain't no valley low enough Ain't no river wide enough To keep me from getting to you babe
  20. Well everybody's got a secret, son Something that they just can't face Some folks spend their whole lives trying to keep it They carry it with them every step that they take 'Til some day they just cut it loose Cut it loose or let it drag 'em down Where no one asks any questions Or looks too long in your face In the darkness on the edge of town In the darkness on the edge of town
  21. I lit up from Reno I was trailed by twenty hounds Didn't get to sleep that night Till the morning came around I set out running but I'll take my time A friend of the Devil is a friend of mine If I get home before daylight I just might get some sleep tonight

I'm just a singer in a rock and roll band How can we understand Riots by the people for the people Who are only destroying themselves When you see a frightened Person who is frightened by the People who are scorching this earth, scor-scorching this earth Music is the traveler crossing our world Meeting so many people, we're bridging the seas I'm just a singer in a rock and roll band I'm just a singer in a rock and roll band I'm just a singer in a rock and roll band We're just the singers in a rock and roll band
