  1. A good looking woman comedienne had a line that went something like: ”The guy is wondering during the entire date whether or not he’s going to get lucky. I already know.” That was from about 20 years ago, and it’s been true pretty much forever. If guys want to whine about how women have the upper hand, they should realize it isn’t anything new, especially if they’re dealing with attractive women. There are guys who are 4s who want women who are 8s, and it ain’t happening. There also girls who are 4s who want guys who are 8s, and that may happen for a one night stand, but not for long term.

  4. Coronation Chicken is a British recipe that’s basically chicken salad with mayonnaise and a little curry powder. It makes a pretty good sandwich. That’s about the extent of my experience with curry.
  5. Sometimes the light's all shinin' on me,Other times I can barely see.Lately it occurs to me what a long, strange trip it's been.
  6. I solve my problems and I see the light We got a lovin' thing, we gotta feed it right There ain't no danger we can go too far We start believing now that we can be what we are Grease is the word They think our love is just a growing pain Why don't they understand, it's just a crying shame Their lips are lying only real is real We stop the fight right now, we got to be what we feel Grease is the word It's got groove it's got meaning Grease is the time, is the place, is the motion Now, grease is the way we are feeling We take the pressure and we throw away Conventionality belongs to yesterday There is a chance that we can make it so far We start believing now but we can be who we are Grease is the word
  7. Would you like to ride in my beautiful balloon Would you like to ride in my beautiful balloon We could float among the stars together, you and I For we can fly, we can fly Up, up and away My beautiful, my beautiful balloon The world's a nicer place in my beautiful balloon It wears a nicer face in my beautiful balloon We can sing a song and sail along the silver sky For we can fly, we can fly Up, up and away My beautiful, my beautiful balloon Suspended under a twilight canopy We'll search the clouds for a star to guide us If by some chance you find yourself loving me We'll find a cloud to hide us We'll keep the moon beside us

  9. My neighborhood has gotten old. I’m recently retired, and I’m surrounded by retired folks, except for the abandoned house next door. I live in an ok neighborhood, but the two grown sons who grew up next door won’t sell the house they inherited when their folks passed away, even though one lives 100 miles away, and the other lives 1500 miles away.
  10. The little old lady from Pasadena (Go, Granny, go, Granny, go Granny go) Has a pretty little flower bed of white gardenias (Go, Granny, go, Granny, go Granny go) But parked in a rickety old garage Is a brand new, shiny red Super Stock Dodge And everybody's sayin' that there's nobody meaner Than the little old lady from Pasadena (She drives real fast and she drives real hard) She's the terror of Colorado Boulevard It's the little old lady from Pasadena If you see her on the street don't try to choose her (Go, Granny, go, Granny, go Granny go) You might drive a goer but you'll never lose her (Go, Granny, go, Granny, go Granny go) Well, she's gonna get a ticket now sooner or later 'Cause she can't keep her foot off the accelerator

  15. It stinks getting old. The hearing and eyesight start to get worse. Next thing you know, you’ll be picking your nose and peeing in the shower.
  16. Do the carp get health insurance and a driver’s license when the USACOE let them in?
  17. So we already knew that women don’t sweat, poop, or pass gas. Now we learn they also don’t pick their noses.

  21. I’ve been walking on an ocean beach almost every day for the past week+. That’s because I’m on vacation. Otherwise, I visit a lake (usually in the Adirondacks) a few times each summer on weekends, and the ocean about every other summer while on vacation.
  22. Storage for lawn mowers, snow blowers, bicycles, garden tools, extra furniture, things my kids don’t want but I’m not allowed to throw out. Workshop. No room for cars.

Ev'ry year along about this time it all goes dry There's nothing round for love or money That'll get you high Henry got pissed off and said he'd run to Mexico To see if he could come back holdin' Twenty keys of gold Now the road to Acapulco is very hard indeed And it isn't any better if you haven't any weed Henry's driving hard and straight On twisty mountain roads There's fifty people waiting back At home for Henry's load And now he's rollin' down the mountain Going fast, fast, fast And if he blows it this one's gonna be his last Run to Acapulco to turn the golden keys Henry keep the brakes on for this corner if you please Henry got to Mexico and turned his truck around He's talking with the man who has it Growing from the ground Henry tasted, he got wasted, couldn't even see How he's gonna drive like that is not too clear to me Sunday afternoon Tijuana is a lovely town Bullfight brings the tourists and Their money flowing down The border guards are much too busy There at five o' clock Henry's truckin' right on through, He hardly even stopped
