An awful lot of hippies became successful middle class citizens, and many of them were concerned about things like pollution and social issues. Hard to predict it would turn out that way at the time, but in retrospect it doesn’t seem surprising at all.

If they reduce the number of emotionally charged rant threads after each game, then I’m all for keeping them. If they just add to the jumble, then they won’t help. Time will tell. Emotionally charged rant threads haven’t been too bad for this year’s preseason games so far. I assume that’s because it’s only preseason, and the Bills have been winning.

Reminds me of the Kamar Aiken situation. Good in pre season, the consensus was that he would make the roster, got cut, ended up having a respectable tenure with another team (the Ravens). Time will tell.
