The incident with the women’s college basketball championship team (Rutgers?) was epic. He made a racist, snide remark about them, and they responded by arranging a panel discussion with him. The women were all articulate, intelligent, soft spoken, well mannered, and gracious. He just sat there and mumbled. He was embarrassed and humbled. It was great. I also think he was taken off the air for a while as a result. I was disappointed that he was allowed back on.

I’ve had three colonoscopies (or is it four?). Whenever the nurses introduce themselves, I just start thinking, “give me the sedative, NOW!” One time the nurse was young-ish and cute-ish, but the other times... not so much.

I got a ticket for running a red light. It was close, but the cops in the village were notorious. I showed up in a shirt and tie. I literally didn’t say a word. The DA looked at we, waved me forward, changed my ticket to driving with an obstructed view (no insurance fee ramifications) and that was the end of it.

Part of the reason is that Josh rarely throws to anyone else. He doesn’t really spread his passes around. It’s basically 90% of the time he throws to one of these two guys. Is it because Josh focuses only on these two guys, or is it because these two guys are the most reliable receivers? Not that there’s anything wrong with that.

I think Josh needs to practice short passes, touch passes, screen passes. Rather than run, run, pass, punt, I wish they would give Josh some opportunities to practice those kinds of passes more often. They do a little, but it’s almost as if they avoid them because he has trouble with them. I think they should emphasize them so he gets some practice. Maybe next week against the Jets they will, unless they rest the starters.
