What goes up must come down
Spinnin' wheel got to go 'round
Talkin' 'bout your troubles it's a cryin' sin
Ride a painted pony let the spinnin' wheel spin
Lost control and rang your bell (I was sore)
Let me in or else I'll beat (down your door)
When two strangers who had been two
silhouettes on the shade
Said to my shock
"you're on the wrong block"
Frank Zappa and the Mothers Were at the best place around But some stupid with a flare gun Burned the place to the ground
Smoke on the water, fire in the sky Smoke on the water
All my friends had to ask me
Something they didn't understand
How I get all the women
In the palms of my hand
And I told them
Treat her like a lady
Do the best you can do
You got to treat her like a lady and she'll give in to you
There are a lot of stinker games, and when you see them on tv you can tell that the stadium is not very full.
In many cases, people don’t want to go to a game in cold weather and watch two teams that have no chance at the playoffs.
Would you like to ride in my beautiful balloon
Would you like to ride in my beautiful balloon
We could float among the stars together, you and I
For we can fly, we can fly
Up, up and away
My beautiful, my beautiful balloon
The world's a nicer place in my beautiful balloon
It wears a nicer face in my beautiful balloon
We can sing a song and sail along the silver sky
For we can fly, we can fly
Early in the evenin' just about supper time
Over by the courthouse they're starting to unwind
Four kids on the corner trying to bring you up
Willy picks a tune out and he blows it on the harp
Down on the corner
Out in the street
Willy and the Poor Boys are playin'
Bring a nickel, tap your feet
Is his successor on the roster?
Could they re-sign him for one or two years so they can ease somebody into the spot?
Would he be ok with being a mentor who will eventually sit on the bench? Eli was in that position and didn’t like it.
This year they have been running the ball and playing good defense. Most of their passing game has been the quick slant, and Edelman has not been as reliable as usual for a lot of the season.
Many questions, many scenarios
Wake up, little Susie, wake up
We've both been sound asleep, wake up, little Susie, and weep
The movie's over, it's four o'clock, and we're in trouble deep
So sorry to hear. If you are sad about her passing, then I’m sure she had a good life. Will you get another? My wife and I still talk to our dog, and she’s been gone for about two years. My wife says she can’t go through the loss again. She’s had three or four dogs in her life, and isn’t sure she wants another.
I used to think that getting a new dog was disrespectful to the old dog. Now I think of it as an acknowledgement that you enjoyed or loved the old dog so much that you don’t want to go through life without one.
Then I awake and look around me
At four grey walls that surround me
And I realize, yes, I was only dreaming
For there's a guard and there's a sad old padre
Arm in arm, we'll walk at daybreak
Again I touch the green, green grass of home
People don’t let their cats out to roam suburbia much anymore. That could help explain why the wild rabbit population is booming. I also wonder if cats could slow the advance of Lyme disease by killing the mice that are part of the tick’s life cycle. There’s always a trade off....
Down by the river on a Friday night
A pyramid of cans in the pale moonlight
Talking 'bout cars and dreaming 'bout women
Never had a plan just a livin' for the minute
Yeah way down yonder on the Chattahoochee
Never knew how much that muddy water meant to me
But I learned how to swim and I learned who I was
A lot about livin' and a little 'bout love
Oh, baby, give me one more chance
(To show you that I love you)
Won't you please let me
Back in your heart
Oh, darling, I was blind to let you go
(Let you go baby)
But now since I see you in his arms
(I want you back) yes, I do now
According to ESPN, Eli says he is done with the Giants, but unclear on retirement. He didn’t like being a backup.
So.... looking for a starting job? Where?
