  1. Well, I keep on thinkin' 'bout you, sister golden hair surprise And I just can't live without you, can't you see it in my eyes? Now I been one poor correspondent, and I been too, too hard to find But it doesn't mean you ain't been on my mind Will you meet me in the middle, will you meet me in the air? Will you love me just a little, just enough to show you care? Well I tried to fake it, I don't mind sayin', I just can't make it
  2. A little bit of Monica in my life A little bit of Erica by my side A little bit of Rita is all I need A little bit of Tina is what I see A little bit of Sandra in the sun A little bit of Mary all night long A little bit of Jessica, here I am A little bit of you makes me your man I do all to fall in love with a girl like you 'Cause you can't run and you can't hide You and me gonna touch the sky
  3. I got my first real six-string Bought it at the five-and-dime Played it 'til my fingers bled Was the summer of '69 Me and some guys from school Had a band and we tried real hard Jimmy quit, Jody got married I should've known we'd never get far Oh, when I look back now That summer seemed to last forever And if I had the choice Yeah, I'd always wanna be there Those were the best days of my life
  4. I see you like them smoky/peaty! You must have some Scottish blood. A few drops of water, or as the ice melts, makes them much more smooth.
  5. Shout shout knock yourself out Come on yell, yell loud and swell You gotta scream, scream you know what I mean Put another dime in the record machine Hey we're havin' a party now it's just begun We're all over here and havin' fun Joe's all alone and he wants to be kissed While Mary's in the corner and she's doin' the twist
  6. SIL stands for son-in-law. He’s a great guy, but I’m not sure about hot.
  7. Based on this chart, the choices in the OP are not smoky (or peaty as they would say in Scotland). In that case, the difference between Whisky and Whiskey is not that significant, it’s just a matter of preference. Throw some Taliskar or Lagavulin into the mix, and then you’ve got a strong comparison. I have found that if I’m in the mood, I don’t hate the smoky ones, but they’re not my preferred choices. I definitely like the Balvenie and Bushmills choices in the OP.
  8. I walk down the lane With a happy refrain Just singing, Singing in the rain Dancing in the rain La ri la la ri la, I'm happy again I'm singin' and dancing in the rain
  9. If I could be you and you could be me for just one hour If we could find a way to get inside each other's mind If you could see you through my eyes instead of your ego I believe you'd be surprised to see that you'd been blind Walk a mile in my shoes, walk a mile in my shoes Yeah, before you abuse, criticize and accuse, walk a mile in my shoes
  10. I won't ever leave while you want me to stay Nothing you could do that would turn me away Hanging on every word Believing the things I heard Being a fool You've taken my life, so take my soul That's what you said and I believed it all I want to be with you as long As you want me to I won't move away Ain't that what you said? Ain't that what you said? Ain't that what you said? Liar, liar, liar
  11. Heartless heartless Never never out of control Heartless heartless Ya keep on sinnin' In the name of a rock and roll Heartless heartless Ya think he's gonna bare his empty soul He never realizes the way love dies When you crucify it's soul
  12. Blue, blue, my world is blue Blue is my world now I'm without you Gray, gray, my life is gray Cold is my heart since you went away Red, red, my eyes are red Crying for you alone in my bed Green, green, my jealous heart I doubted you and now we're apart
  13. I’d go. Bring some alcohol wipes, wash your hands often, try not to touch your face, etc. Those precautions are standard procedure for my wife and me whenever we travel, but now I might be a little more serious about it.
  14. The number 2 place is just a few blocks from where my daughter works in Connecticut. I might have to try to get my SIL to check it out with me. edit: I asked my SIL and he said he’s been there, he likes their wings, and he would definitely be happy to take me. I’m looking forward to that.

Look out, here comes tomorrow That's when I'll have to choose How I wish I could borrow Someone else's shoes Mary, oh what a sweet girl Lips like strawberry pie Sandra, the long hair and pig tails Can't make up my mind I see all kinds of sorrow Wish I only loved one Look out, here comes tomorrow Oh, how I wish tomorrow would never come
  18. Oh darling I'm so lonely without you Can't sleep at night always think about you But if I had the chance to start all over I would be wishing today on a four leaf clover And leaving you would be the last thing on my mind If I could turn back the hands of time
  19. Well now some folks are born into a good life, And other folks get it anyway, anyhow, Well now I lost my money and I lost my wife, Them things don't seem to matter much to me now. Tonight I'll be on that hill 'cause I can't stop, I'll be on that hill with everything I got, With lives on the line where dreams are found and lost, I'll be there on time and I'll pay the cost, For wanting things that can only be found In the darkness on the edge of town. In the darkness on the edge of town.
  20. The train pulls out at Kankakee Rolls along past houses, farms and fields Passin' trains that have no names Freight yards full of old black men And the graveyards of the rusted automobiles Good morning America how are you? Don't you know me I'm your native son I'm the train they call The City of New Orleans I'll be gone five hundred miles when the day is done
