  1. Just one last kiss Before I walk out the door I'm gonna hold you tighter Than I ever did before And I, I never promised you The things you promised me And I, I can't justify The way it's gotta be And the good times are the best times The bad times fade away The good times are forever But now, baby, the last time is today
  2. I have similar experiences with finicky gas saws. I only cut trees that are at most 6 inches in diameter. If they’re bigger than that I pay a guy whose prices are very reasonable. I got an electric one with a cord dirt cheap. It’s fine for my purposes.
  3. That is true. I use it Mass. often. Why my son hasn’t gotten an ezpass for himself is a big mystery. His fiancé has one, but he doesn’t. It’s on the list of things that I periodically bug him about.
  4. Thank you for all you are doing. I’m about to turn 63 and I really, really, really don’t want to get this. I tried to slog through your references, and I found the discussions of ACE Inhibitors fascinating. I take lisinopril for blood pressure, which wasn’t specifically mentioned, but if I get sick it may be of interest. They keep saying hypertension is a big risk factor for negative outcomes. My hypertension is controlled pretty well with medication. I wonder how that affects hypertension as a risk factor.
  5. I've never seen you looking so lovely as you did tonight I've never seen you shine so bright I've never seen so many men ask you if you wanted to dance They're looking for a little romance, given half a chance And I have never seen that dress you're wearing Or the highlights in your hair that catch your eyes I have been blind The lady in red is dancing with me, cheek to cheek There's nobody here, it's just you and me It's where I want to be But I hardly know this beauty by my side I'll never forget the way you look tonight
  6. My son recently got a bill from Mass. for tolls based on his license plate. He goes on the Mass Pike a few times a year, and the bill is usually at least a few dollars. This time the toll was 90 cents, and the processing fee was 60 cents. The weird thing was that he wasn’t in Mass. on the date of the activity; the bill was a mistake. He just paid the $1.50 rather than fight it.
  7. I live in a village with plenty of sidewalks. It a great place to go for a walk. My wife and I have a 3 mile zigzag route that we like. I’ve noticed that when we encounter other people somebody will cross the street to give a wide berth. I’m fine with that.
  8. Now if you're feelin' kinda low 'bout the dues you've been paying Future's coming much too slow And you want to run but somehow you just keep on stayin' Can't decide on which way to go Yeah, yeah, yeah I understand about indecision But I don't care if I get behind People livin' in competition All I want is to have my peace of mind
  9. I want to love you, and treat you right I want to love you, every day and every night We'll be together, with a roof right over our heads We'll share the shelter, of my single bed We'll share the same room Is this love, is this love, is this love Is this love that I'm feelin'?
  10. Here comes that rainy day feeling again And soon my tears they will be falling like rain It always seems to be a Monday Left over memories of Sunday always spent with you Before the clouds appeared and took away my sunshine
  11. I remember seeing this on tv. Still gives me chills.
  12. Kiss me out of the bearded barley Nightly, beside the green, green grass Swing, swing, swing the spinning step You'll wear those shoes and I will wear that dress Oh, kiss me beneath the milky twilight Lead me out on the moonlit floor Lift your open hand Strike up the band, and make the fireflies dance Silvermoon's sparkling So kiss me
  13. North side, east side Little Willy, Willy wears the crown, he's the king around town Dancing, glancing Willy drives them silly with his star shoe shimmy shuffle down Way past one, and feeling alright 'Cause with little Willy round they can last all night Hey down, stay down, stay down down 'Cause little Willy, Willy won't go home But you can't push Willy 'round Willy won't go, try tellin' everybody but, oh no Little Willy, Willy won't go home
  14. And in 13 years we’ll have.... quarenteenies! (not original)
  15. Baby, baby it looks like it's gonna hail Baby, baby it looks like it's gonna hail You better come inside Let me teach you how to jive and wail You gotta jump, jive, and then you wail You gotta jump, jive, and then you wail You gotta jump, jive, and then you wail You gotta jump, jive, and then you wail You gotta jump, jive, and then you wail away! Papa's in the icebox lookin' for a can of ale Papa's in the icebox lookin' for a can of ale Mama's in the backyard learning how to jive and wail
  16. There's a world where I can go and tell my secrets to In my room, in my room In this world I lock out all my worries and my fears In my room, in my room Do my dreaming and my scheming Lie awake and pray Do my crying and my sighing Laugh at yesterday Now it's dark and I'm alone But I won't be afraid In my room, in my room
  17. All her boyfriends used to come and call Why not come dancing, it's only natural Another Saturday, another date She would be ready but she'd always make him wait In the hallway, in anticipation He didn't know the night would end up in frustration He'd end up blowing all his wages for the week All for a cuddle and a peck on the cheek Come dancing
  18. You are the dancing queen Young and sweet Only seventeen Dancing queen Feel the beat from the tambourine, oh yeah You can dance You can jive Having the time of your life Ooh, see that girl Watch that scene Digging the dancing queen
  19. To everything (turn, turn, turn) There is a season (turn, turn, turn) And a time to every purpose, under heaven A time to be born, a time to die A time to plant, a time to reap A time to kill, a time to heal A time to laugh, a time to weep
  20. People see us everywhere They think you really care But myself I can't deceive I know it's only make believe My one and only prayer is that some day you'll care, My hopes, my dreams come true, my one and only you. No one will ever know how much I love you so My only prayer will be someday you'll care for me But it's o-only make believe.
  21. Everything I want the world to be Is now comin' true especially for me And the reason is clear, it's because you are here You're the nearest thing to heaven that I've seen I'm on the top of the world lookin' down on creation And the only explanation I can find Is the love that I've found ever since you've been around Your love's put me at the top of the world
  22. Mid 1960s Honda CB160. My friend’s dad had one when I was 13 in 1970. He used to let us ride it on some dirt roads near our house. I thought I was pretty hot stuff. Pretty tame in retrospect, but at least I learned how to shift gears on a motorcycle. One of those skills that stays with you forever.
  23. When I was a young man and never been kissed I got to thinking it over what I had missed. I got me a girl, I kissed her and then Oh Lord, I kissed her again. Oh, kisses sweeter than wine
  24. Raspberries, strawberries, the good wines we brew. Here's to the girls of the countryside, the ones we drink 'em to. An old man returns to Paris as every old man must. He finds the winter winds blow cold. His dreams have turned to dust..
