  2. Are they mad because the media found out about it? What is the captain of another ship supposed to do if/when infections occur? Is this intended to scare other ship captains into not admitting it? Does this imply that other ships are also infected but their captains are keeping it quiet? edit. It’s because he went public. Leaked a memo. https://www.reuters.com/article/us-health-coronavirus-usa-navy-exclusive/exclusive-u-s-navy-expected-to-relieve-commander-of-coronavirus-stricken-aircraft-carrier-idUSKBN21K3B9

  12. Carry on my wayward son For there'll be peace when you are done Lay your weary head to rest Don't you cry no more Once I rose above the noise and confusion Just to get a glimpse beyond the illusion I was soaring ever higher, but I flew too high Though my eyes could see I still was a blind man Though my mind could think I still was a mad man I hear the voices when I'm dreamin', I can hear them say
  13. @Hapless Bills Fan @John in Jax My son is a nurse. He usually has a short beard. Once a year they make him shave and get fit tested so that they know that he knows the proper way to wear a mask. So far, he has had only minor interactions with covid patients. He has shaved his beard and is paying close attention to how his mask is fitting. They expect that interaction with covid patients will ramp up over the next few weeks.

  16. I really enjoyed Flight if the Navigator when my kids were young. That one is under the radar. I’ve mentioned it a few times in conversation and many people don’t even know about it. my wife says The Russians are Coming. I don’t remember that one.

  18. The rapid testing that is being developed may be sufficient to allow limited interpersonal interaction, which means a sloppy season with no fans.
  19. Well the party was nice, the party was pumpin' (Hey, Yippie-Yi-Yo) And everybody havin' a ball (Hah, ho, Yippie-Yi-Yo) Until the fellas started name callin' (Yippie-Yi-Yo) And the girls respond to the call I heard a woman shout out "Who let the dogs out?" (Who, who, who, who) Who let the dogs out?
  20. I feel as though deaths are the most reliable measure of the situation. It is a lagging indicator, since it seems to take two or three weeks for a person to die (if a person is going to die) after initially contracting the virus. Since the testing is so inconsistent, the only way to say that the virus has come through an area and then social distancing has caused the impact to be reduced is to see that the number of deaths has declined. But since that statistic represents a two or three week delay, it’s hard to judge the impact of social distancing in real time. I know, I know... we need more testing. But that costs money and requires cooperation, which is a hard putt.
