  1. Love the pick. He is the future of the league. Pass rush is coming more and more from the 3-Tech as opposed to the edge. Chris Jones is more of an inside guy (almost 300lbs), Watt plays all over Houston's defense, and Donald is exactly what Oliver hopes to be.
  2. Im not worried about the Jets. If they get all those picks I think they’ll blow it anyways. McCagnan with Gase and Gregg Williams? That braintrust deserves very little trust if any. Also, I don’t think anyone is trading ball the way up to #3 for a QB. Tampa Bay at #5 will be the sweet spot. Bucs are short on picks and cap space. They’ll want to move down, get more capital, move McCoy to create a bit more cap space, and load up on cheap talent.
  3. I must admit I love watching Daniel Snyder do Daniel Snyder things at the draft. Always fun to watch.
  4. You could be right. My guy is Sternberger. I think a lot has to do with scheme fit. If Sternberger was picked by Buffalo he’d be a great deep threat for Allen up the seam. I really like a lot of the tight ends. Hockenson, Sternberger, Knox, Oliver, Wharing.
  5. My 3 that I figure are realistic are Ed Oliver TJ Hockenson Jonah Williams
  6. This will hurt his stock I would assume. And I figured he would slip before even hearing this. Seems to me like a “traits” guy. Hasn’t really produced.
  7. I would be really happy if he was the pick. He, Oliver and Jonah Williams are the three guys I like that I see as realistic options at #9
  8. I like him a lot. And if we were at 15-20 I’d be thrilled. I just think there’s better talent at #9 available.
  9. Taking a quick peek at the Bills Pre-Draft Visits, I believe a few things are becoming clear regarding each round. 1. The most 1st round caliber players the Bills have brought in have been defensive linemen, either edge or tackle. With that in mind I see it very likely the Bills go D-Line in Round 1, with Oliver/Sweat/Gary/Burns being the favorites in that order. 2. The next most interviewed position was day 2 possible WR’s. The only wideout that seems like a round 1 Lock is Metcalf, and even he could end up in round 2 because of injuries and other questions 3. Funny that the only TE’s we’ve seen brought in for visits (I believe?) have been Knox and Sternberger. Tells me they won’t spend the assets on a TE in round one unless somehow they trade down and all those defensive linemen are gonna. 4. This is where we see most of the running backs start to get interviewed. Darrell Henderson anyone? Later day 3: a fair amount of DB’s tells me we’ll see one off the board on day 3 for sure. Running back and offensive line depth also seem like possibilities as well.
  10. I’d be pretty thrilled. I don’t think he’s a possibility for #1 or #2 overall. Arizona will either take Murray or Bosa. I’d assume Murray, and that they’ll take whatever they can for Rosen. His latest comments just make me think they’re probably itching to get rid of him. He’s seems like a pretentious, egoist with little of the intangible qualities that are needed to be a successful NFL QB. San Francisco seems to be hooked in on Bosa, and if he’s not there, I see them taking Josh Allen over Quinnen Williams. 3-8 are more plausible landing spots for Oliver, but... 3. The Jets seem to be sticking with a 3-4. I don’t think you’ll see them drafting a smallish DT to play end in that style of defense. 4. I see Oakland taking one of the following, in no particular preference: -Q. Williams if he’s there. -QB if they like a guy a lot more than Derek Carr. -Edge Rusher if neither of the above are true. 5. Tampa Bay originally seemed like a possibility to me, but if they’re going to a 3-4 as well I think they’ll try to get themselves a playmaking LB and then draft the trenches later on as it is a deep class, especially for DT’s. 6. I think the Giants are smokescreening and will take Haskins at #6 or possibly swap with the Raiders or Jets to move up for him. If not they’ll take an offensive lineman like Williams or an edge guy like Gary or Sweat. Oliver doesn’t have the measurable that Gettleman seems to look for. 7. Jacksonville seems unlikely as they’ve invested a lot in the defense and I see them taking an offensive lineman for Foles. 8. Detroit doesn’t seem to run the right scheme for him, as they do a lot of hybrid, 3-4 type stuff and I think they’ll go after Hockenson, Swear, or Gary. Patricia seems to me to be the kind of coach that’s going to mess things up there pretty badly. Similar to most Belichick protégées. If the best available players at this point are; Edge: Sweat or Gary TE: Hockenson OL: Taylor or J. Williams DT: Oliver or Wilkins or Simmonds LB: Bush CB Any QB: Lock or Haskins or Murray I think Buffalo runs to the podium to select Oliver. He is the perfect fit for McDermott’s defense and I think he was so misused at Houston that he’ll really take off in a well schemes NFL defense, which McDermott has.
  11. Not my favorite. I’m not a Gary fan.
  12. Not sure. Saw it last year in Bleacher with Matt Millerand I believe a few others. I apologize bc I don’t have links so I’m really confirming my observations, but I do remember him (and Darnold) being their favorites.
  13. Possibly. But word last year got out that they liked Allen. So idk. It’s hard to get a grasp on what they’re looking for. Regardless I won’t be disappointed unless they take a RB or CB at #9
  14. I was originally of the thought they wouldn’t go OL at 9, but I think Jonah Williams makes a lot of sense for them especially after Daniel Jeremiah’s comments about hearing his name rumored with Buffalo throughout the process. He’s versatile and would make the line really strong after Allen really had to run for his life all last season.
  15. I love that all of them are there except Brady. Probably too busy drinking kale smoothies.
  16. Jonah Williams. He’s going to be a very good starter wherever he starts for a long time.
  17. -I don’t know much about Pauline. But last year, the only quarterbacks I heard the Bills were actually high on, were Darnold & Allen. Turns out they took Allen. Part of that was probably because the Jets took Darnold at 3. Regardless, the Bills were high on those two. -This year, it seems like they’re really trying to build a bulldog mentality on their front line. Building this line up both in quality and depth, will give Allen and the offense more time to throw, better lanes for running, and as a result better success running play-action. -I believe running successful play-action will be the bread and butter of this offense. They’ll want to run a few plays that are the same concept from as many types of formations as possible. -I think Oliver is their top guy. His explosiveness could really disrupt opposing offenses. But if he’s gone (and I think he will be, he’s just too talented), Williams will be their pick. He’s got the experience, and he’s played at a big time program against some of the best collegiate talent in the country. He knows the offensive coordinator, and he’s got a nasty streak and a chip on his shoulder that the Bills are looking for. *If they do draft Williams rounds 2-4 will be spent getting the following, in no particular order; Pass-catcher: Either a tight end or Receiver. Defensive End: Hughes & Lawson could both be gone next year, and the pass rush last season did not have much teeth to it as it was. Defensive Tackle: they’ll need a 3-technique to rotate with Jordan Phillips. *After that well see rounds 5-7 focus on the following: Running back: They’ll get one late, probably someone who is a pass-catching option as well as a runner. Linebacker: Build up depth behind Milano & Edmunds Pass-Catcher: If they take a tight end early, they’ll take a receiver later, and Vice versa.
  18. I don’t think teams believe he has the right “it” factor. His disposition doesn’t seem to be what teams want in their quarterback. Its not always about being able to simply throw the ball deeply, accurately, or the mental capacity to read defenses, or the ability to escape the pocket and run. Something else is necessary in the constitution of a person to be the leader of men (or women or anyone) in any type of endeavor. Something about being unselfish, confident but not cocky, a good dose of humility, and instilling confidence in those around you by your words and your performance. I think Rosen is lacking somewhere in these departments and that it is noticed by many in the league.
  19. Trade down to #15, pick up an extra 2nd Round Pick. 1-#15 TE- TJ Hockenson-Iowa -If we Trade down, which I think they want to do in the 1st, this is who they go after. The entire off-season has been about getting Allen weapons, Hockenson will be a blocking and receiving addition for the offense, a true 2-for-1 move. 2-#40 Defensive Lineman candidates: Jaylon Ferguson, Chase Winovich, Jerry Tillery, Khalen Saunders, 2-#47 Wide Receiver- JJ Arcega Whiteside, Kelvin Harmon, Hakeem Butler (I think Harry will be fine, I honestly think he’ll be WR2 off the board) 3-#74 Defensive Lineman -DE if we take DT in round-2, and vice versa. 4-#112 Offensive Tackle -Bobby Evans? I think he’ll go higher than this though so I could see them going after him in the 3rd and taking a 2nd defensive lineman in the 4th. 4-#137 Running Back Devin Singeltary or Trayveon Williams at this point.
  20. This looks about right. I could see Feliciano starting over Long. I could also see Waddle starting over Nsekhe. i think they draft one more tackle deeper in the draft. Ducasse will be cut. McDermott, Sirles and Boettger are the odd men out. I would go with: LT- Dawkins / Waddle LG- Spain / Teller C- Morse / Bodine RG- Long / Feliciano RT- Nsekhe / *Rookie* could see them putting Teller on practice squad as well.
  21. Really happy with this signing. They now have Teller, Feliciano Long, Spain, Sirles, and Boettger as their guards. Long can slide to center in a pinch as well which is valuable. makes me think if they do draft offensive linemen, it’ll be tackles for sure (or guys who they view as tackles with positional flexibility).
  22. The “deadline” he’s set seems strange. If I’m the Seahawks I get it done and if he doesn’t agree I tag him and put an end to this stupid stuff that Antonio Brown was able to pull. Draft a developmental guy in the 4th round this year. Tag Wilson and if he doesn’t sign let him sit out.
  23. Not saying that drafting one isn’t important, but we’re sny of those guys 1st Round Picks? I’d be happy with a guy anywhere in rounds 1-3 who shows the ability to be a pass catcher. Any of Hockenson, Fant, Smith Jr., Sternberger, Knox would be fine by me. Obviously depends where (I’d be pissed if we took Knox in round 1 obviously). But overall all I think they’ll address it and I personally think they’ll draft two of them. One in the 2nd or 3rd and one in rounds 4-6
  24. I like Wilkins and wouldn’t be upset if they took him. I think he’s more of a McDermott Pick than a Beane pick. I look more at the 2018 draft than the 2017 draft to see how they will proceed organizationally. 2017 was still Whaley’s scouting staff. 2018 was full McBeane show.
  25. As the draft gets closer I see the Bills liking the depth of the tight end class this year. Draft two of them. Maybe Sternberger in the 2nd or 3rd. And then someone like Dawson Knox or Isaac Nauta in the 4th or 5th. They like tight ends in Daboll’s system. Bring 5 or 6 into camp and keep 4.
