  1. Jackson is a long way from the next step.
  2. Regarding 1., a lot of decent players are stuck behind top flight players and get little chance to develop and excel. A losing team, providing them with that opportunity, may well be attractive to them. One that immediately comes to mind is Kenny Davis.
  3. Packers, with winning teams, have continually lost prime players to free agency. Yes, Buffalo's bigger, with more to offer, but climate "talks;" hopefully, money will as well.
  4. First pick and second or third should be OL unless "bingo!" on a free agent or two.
  5. Her head went into the wall and she couldn't stand up straight. Then he kicked when she was down. No one was hurt??? It's all good??? Assume you had little problem with Mixon's punch out as well.
  6. Deserved to lose. Terrible play calling, defensive non-coverage, and on last drive, Jackson had receivers open and continually went to closely covered guys.
  7. Also, on Jackson's long run, O tackle took a dive and negated the run. Even announcers said so.
  8. UB took the second half off. Sad. Refs are terrible. NIU OL continually holding and not being called at all.
  9. He can look like anything he wants so long as he keeps hitting 50+ yard punts.
  10. Blatant holding not called on TD pass. Johnson should definitely go rather high. Hope he plays in Senior Bowl and gets exposure.
  11. Game is proof of how important it is to fix the Bills OL. UB's line is dominating the best defense in the MAC.
  12. If you have any question about how important a stellar offensive line is to a team, watch the UB game tonight. We need two stud lineman in this draft or thru free agency.
  13. I believe the light went on a number of games ago.
  14. If we don't take a stud OT in the first round, for a change, or don't sign a top free agent OT, we deserve any and all criticism pointed our way. Allen is making a fine impression but needs a lot of help. He's constantly under duress and has already been injured. We have a lot invested in him and now it's time to create something resembling a pocket for him. If we don't, we may be quite unhappy with the price, in a developmental and/or in a physical sense.
  15. With Dan Snyder's history of firing coaches following short tenures, it's interesting that Gruden is still around.
  16. It'd be interesting to learn what the deal is with Schmidt.
  17. Snyder will do anything to make a splash, except hire a competent general manager. The only one he's had since he took over the team was an alcoholic, who was fired because he was too drunk to show up for work.
  18. Bold City means Hackett's next.
  19. Schmidt will be back next week after the Dolphin's playbook has been copied.
  20. And get him the ball in space. His motor appears built for it.
