  1. If we can't be competitive, let alone win or split those first two games, we're probably not that good a team to begin with. If you're good, it's gravy having more home games later in the season to enrich a winning recipe.
  2. The draft will help with the D line; the thread will not.
  3. A lot of posters apparently into abs. Now let's be logical and get a stud OT and a defensive lineman in the first two rounds. If we trade down, throw in a tight end.
  4. Depends on who or what they intend to draft.
  5. He knows what opportunities exist when teams contact him. You have it backwards.
  6. Anyone for quality as opposed to quantity? After all, we did sign a "few" free agents.
  7. Take the boat to Fort Sumpter.
  8. I keep dreaming there was a penalty and Scott Norwood had to re-kick, and it was good. Then all the subsequent nightmares would suddenly disappear.
  9. And what does this 'family' do for fun?
  10. And the Redskins were just assured that Rueben Foster can play all games this year. But do you want Rueben Foster in the locker room?
  11. "In Beane we trust." Seriously!
  12. Forgot about Haslett. He should be on this team.
  13. What happened to Lotsa Space. Someone please close down this thread!
  14. I think they'd trade a two or three if they can get someone they truly want.
  15. You're right about the OL. I believe we'll move up for someone Beane truly covets. He did it last year for Allen and we have plenty of draft capital to pull it off.
  16. You never have too much OL. And many are on one year deals. We still need a long term young stud OT.
  17. Though he wasn't a starter, Kenny Davis was invaluable. And if you want to "stretch the field" and include someone who makes the team based on a single game, Frank Reich, hands down.
  18. Those Packer teams were something else.
  19. The more I think about it the more I believe we'll trade up. Beane has already shown he'll go that route to get someone he truly covets. With all the holes he's filled thru free agency, he has little need for the multitude of draft picks he has this year. Of course next year, because so many of the free agents are on one year deals, that will likely be a different story. But Beane's bean appears to know what it's doing.
  20. Reggie McKenzie, please.
  21. Has the Bills strategy from the outset been to sign a mega number of free agents to fill spots so they're able to trade significant draft picks to move way up to draft a guy like this?
