  1. Pass. His tire tread is showing and he's had many flats.
  2. Perhaps there's a concern about their quarterback?
  3. Lincoln was a true star of the AFL. Helped make it the class act it was.
  4. Wish you were GM. Then we could be further enlightened by your guesses.
  5. Nice read. Thanks. Appears that about all Tyree does is arrive early and sign autographs. It'll be interesting to see how he does in preseason games. If he looks decent someone will likely bite if we cut him. So perhaps coach tells him to "bomb" if he wants to stay in Buffalo.
  6. Anything about Tyree? That's gonna be a long haul, if it even lasts.
  7. Thanks for the post. Go Bills!
  8. A good shrink can't even fix that problem. Do you have blue and white nightmares, interspersed with flashes of Scott Norwood and Rex Ryan, as well?
  9. Yes. You probably avoid reruns of the Brady Bunch as well.
  10. The Redskins stadium is not downtown and not easily accessible to a subway line (it's actually not accessible to anything). It can take an hour and a half to get out of the parking lot. A downtown football located near good access roads and transportation (Ravens stadium for example) can be far from a loser. And what does for the local economy (restaurants, parking concessions, hotels, etc.) is a big plus.
  11. Cookie Gilchrist arriving at his initial Bills camp in a gold cadillac, with a sign on the side saying "Lookie lookie, here comes Cookie."
  12. There were ominous signs prior to the pre-season games. The initial one was when it was announced Rex had been hired.
  13. Preseason games are not meant to be won. They're strictly to evaluate new and veteran players, familiarize players with the system, tweak the system as deemed necessary, and provide some game experience for inexperienced players. Who cares if the games are "better" (ask Marv Levy, who went to four Super Bowls and rarely won a preseason game).
  14. Money in the owner's bank: Yes Were coaches consulted: Doubtful Were players consulted: Doubtful Worth doing: Yes, if you're an owner Final verdict: Dumb idea, unless you're an owner
  15. Perhaps Allen will have something to "say" with an OL in front of him this season. It certainly won't hurt.
  16. If you had asked Johnny Unitas if he had a number one receiver, he would have laughed at you. He went to Raymond Barry, Jimmy Orr. and his tight end interchangably and successfully, and undoubtedly was never concerned with who could possibly have been "numero uno." You obviously have a number one if you have few viable options other than a single outstanding receiver. But do you necessarily want that? That individual will be double teamed incessantly. Let's have as many good receivers on the Bills as possible, drive defenses crazy, and not worry about who's on first.
  17. Here's what I want to watch (in Maryland): Bills games, Sabres games, Indian games? Will HULU get me there? I'll check it out in the meantime. Thanks.
