He is absolutely terrible. The opposition knows it and exploits it unmercifully.

The collapse started before today. The Bills struggle against mediocre teams. The last few games have born this out. We seem ill prepared for the opposition. There's little in the way of consistency and defensive pressure, and a lot in the way of inaccurate passes, poor ball control (especially by Allen), and stupid penalties. Perhaps the team should help Smith destroy his helmet by simply having him relinquish it. That's all for starters of this rant.

Right. The Bills promote relaxation.

Kroft is not injured. Was is was. Perhaps we shouldn't dress Allen since he was injured last season.

Josh is slowly improving but has a long way to go. Mitch appears to be regressing. But it's all relative with respect to external factors such as offensive teammates and coaching.

Guy's a winner. But I wish he'd teach someone else how to play corner back consistently well.

Yes and no. At times he looks like it's clicking in and at other times he reverts back to doing things he should have nailed by now, such as not throwing the ball away and not sliding. What I'd also like to see is more play action and screens (but that may be on play calling, not him).

I would add a fourth criteria/test: Highs and lows notwithstanding, does the young quarterback show continual improvement and the ability to learn from his mistakes. That's the one I'm primarily and continually looking for with respect to Josh Allen.

The only problem is when we're on national TV, we usually bomb. Wouldn't it be nice to beat the Pats while everyone's watching for a change.

Good read. This business about the Bills schedule is kind of lame. For years we've been advised that our schedule is one of the toughest; so we lose and everyone agrees it was a given. So we finally have a easier schedule and we're winning and everyone thus says it's a given. Take the "given" and run with it. If we were losing to these teams, everyone would be complaining as well. By the way, I haven't seen much comment on the all white unis. I really like them. Reminds me of the old Cleveland Browns when Jim was smokin'.
