  1. Josh overthrows his targets time and again. And in the last game, the wind and Doboll's play calling didn't help.
  2. Can we throw out this thread? Right, take a flier with your top pick on a player you don't need.
  3. Hating Pats players because they produce against us is little more than latent jealousy. Get over it and hope we do something about that production on the field.
  4. Why were Yeldon and Duke signed if they could make the team but not be utilized?
  5. This is primarily a luck-based statistic, as someone already mentioned. Given the Bills history with respect to luck, this statistic translates to "par for the course." The Bills are long overdue for a different venue for their "golf game."
  6. The mistake is this thread.
  7. Not dejected. Simply upset by Daboll's play calling and management, especially in the first quarter. An unpaid minor could have continually called run twice, throw a deep uncatchable pass, then punt - over and over again.
  8. Management should actually demand a refund.
  9. Clearly. When you're "there" you're consistent on both sides of the ball.
  10. Anyone who feels teams don't do things to gain an advantage is kidding themselves. Perhaps the Patriots do it more, but prove it instead of running a bandwagon over a rough surface.
  11. We'll have a good day if we put pressure on a rookie free agent quarterback and don't act like he's a major threat.
  12. Cease the knock on Knox. He's a rookie with little college experience. He's shown a significant upside along with a "rookie downside." If he doesn't show development thru next year, yes, I'll reconsider.
  13. It's difficult to execute when your offense is totally predictable and the opposition loves preparing for it. The first quarter yesterday was textbook in that regard.
  14. They rarely even try. And when they have and it works, they never go back to it. He's increasingly collecting other red flags as well.
  15. I'm more dejected by Daboll's play calling in the wasted first quarter. Three and out continuously is bad enough but calling totally predictable (for Daboll) plays on second and third down and having Allen continue to throw third down deep balls on a windy day is simply unacceptable.
  16. That's an understatement. The first quarter was pure juvenile: run run pass punt, run run pass punt etc. Extremely underwhelming and predictable. And instead of attempting to establish any rhythm, the passes were inaccurate deep balls on a windy day. I'd love to be a defensive coordinator prepping for a Bills game.
  17. I'd love to defense the Bills' offense. You know for sure they'll come out and run two plays, them have to pass. Then they'll do the same thing again, and again. Today's first quarter was a lose, lose proposition; predictable and made worse by attempts to throw bombs on a windy day instead of developing a rhythm and keeping the defense off balance. The Bills early offensive going in game after game, would truly be a treat for a defensive coordinator to deal with.
  18. "Probably still be enough" won't get you very far in today's NFL. I want my team to have a killer instinct, which we see very little sign of despite the record, i.e. barely enough is not good enough if you want to truly go places.
  19. You can always attempt to better your offense with new personnel. But no matter how good you may be on paper, if your play calling suffers, the "right" guys may not necessarily be very productive. Take today's first quarter. The play calling was atrocious, predictable, and to some extent laughable. Run twice, which everyone we knows we generally do early on, then pass because you have to. No keeping the defense guessing and no attempts to develop any rhythm with short passes. When you pray that those bombs from Allen will be on target, especially on a windy day, it's called wishful thinking. Defenses love three and outs and we're particularly adept at it.
  20. Someone needs help. And it's not the old guy.
  21. Probably at red lights and stop signs.
