  1. If you can get a starting-quality offensive lineman, trade him. The sooner the better.
  2. Galloway was always hurt. He lost his speed and became an average, old receiver. You sound like a Dan Snyder apologist. Laugh off Belichek's moves all you want, then look at the results.
  3. Duh! They just signed a quarterback, seriously.
  4. Blah, blah, blah. It would be fine if we had not heard this 4,364 times before; i.e. it's not a revelation. Why not just root for another team until Ralph passes or sells?
  5. Agree with you about Dalton. Ponder did play well in the nationally televised opener against USC two years ago, for whatever that's worth.
  6. Agreed. And you're not crazy.
  7. The comparison is ludicrous. Newton is a tremendous, multi-dimensional football player. If he's there at 3, you draft him or you trade down because there will be plenty of teams anxious to trade you the store. I kind of hope he's not there because we really should go D-line. But CN may be too difficult to pass up. In any case, don't touch Mallett, aka The Leaf.
  8. Newton is a beast of a QB. Quarterbacks who've played college ball in wide open offenses usually don't make it in the pros because they're one dimentional. Newton, by contrast, is both a fine passer and runner. Anyone comparing him to Jason Campbell has not seen JC play very much. JC is relatively tentative, lacks fire, and can, in no way, run in Newton's shoes. Newton is Michael Vick with a potentially better passing game. Anyone have a problem with that? What the Bills need is a fire starter. Cam has the tinder and the spark.
  9. This is not a great stadium. In old RFK Stadium, if was impossible, forever, to get season tickets; all seats were in demand. Today, Danny's boys are begging you to buy his deficient seats. So be careful. One thing I always found worked at the old stadium was to wait outside until the game started. There were always so many trying to scalp tickets that once the game started, you could get tremendous deals. Of course, six is likely to be a problem.
  10. Arrington was playing on one leg even before he tore his achilles last season.
  11. Draft day should really be fun. Marv, based on last year, could do just about anything. So all the speculation about who we'll be picking and when in just that, pure speculation. Plus yesterdays trade was much more interesting than what most expected. This will certainly be interesting.
  12. Wait until he sees the women of Baltimore. It ain't Miami. At what point do paternity suits put a crimp in ones style?
  13. They are probably waiting for him to be able to pass a physical.
  14. Good, another "mouth" for Belichek to feed.
  15. Bob should be silent.
  16. It was a great move getting Chris Gratton. How else would we have obtained Danny Briere?
  17. And Willis tells the Baltimore press he will accell behind that good OL, as he badmouths the Bills. Perhaps he should read a bit more. Or perhaps he was just desperate to get out of Buffalo/Toronto. Or maybe he learned of some easy "hits" in B.
  18. No offense to your uncles, but we in Maryland, outside the Baltimore area, frequently hear references to "Baltimorons."
  19. Agreed. And than there's Denney.
