  1. He's clueless and shouldn't even be on the team.
  2. Batten played well, when he played. Rogers, had he played corner, could not have been worse than McKelvin was. Ridiculous thread.
  3. What's incredible was the catch, that was a catch but was not called one, was called by an official way across the field. How the reviewer saw anything but a catch is the mystery of the year. Obviously, overturning it would've caused great embarrassment to a certain official so they let it slide. It's kind of like the Sabres/Stars "no goal" situation. The problem is it always seems to happen to a team from Buffalo.
  4. It's not necessarily about football. Some, of course, do it to get noticed, for better or worse. They have little else going for them. It's like the jerks who talk loudly on their cells in public places. I love it when they continually try to impress you with "I told him to do" whatever. In any case, the Bills will hopefully keep people standing for football reasons.
  5. Putting maximum pressure on quarterbacks would help tremendously but I wouldn't bet on it happening. Plus, our pressure guy has disappeared. He's either injured again or basking in the glow of the preseason.
  6. Ever hear about confidence and momentum? Not everyone is a pessimist, undoubtedly not the Bills at this point.
  7. Has there been any word on Stevie's condition? He could barely move when they took him out late in the game
  8. I'd love to see Aiken on the field.
  9. The adjustments may not have been readily noticeable. Yes, the formations may have been the same but the blocking schemes, for one, may have been adjusted. That, of course, can have significant impact. Adjustments aside, it just appeared that the Bills came out in the second half breathing fire, which was but an ember in the first half.
  10. Campbell was never a bad quarterback in Washington. He took a lot of heat but he had mediocre receivers, the team played poorly, and he wasn't anything special. But, agreed, he's a decent quarterback.
  11. Short outs and throw to Jackson and Spiller. Pressure on Campbell is critical.
  12. I still thinks it's mono, which would keep him out for many weeks. Too bad.
  13. The Bills need to throw more to Spiller. He's not a good short yardage back because he doesn't have Jackson's feel for the blocking schemes and what to do when a hole quickly opens. But get the ball to him in the open field and he can probably gain gobs of yards like he did at Clemson. On a third and one in the red zone during the first half, I had no idea why he was in the game to be given the ball on a running play, which got nowhere. We were good; perhaps we can even be better. The confidence level now has to be a major plus in any case. Anyone want Maybin back?
  14. The Bills showed that the defense can play well against a good offensive team when Merriman is a non-factor. Too many seemed to think that unless he dominated games, we would lose. That is a most encouraging sign.
  15. You were expecting Jasper to start next week, or by game 16? "Project" means project!
  16. Has to be the Great Comeback; one of the most exciting games in league history.
  17. They saw the light. This makes sense as I mentioned a few weeks ago. If Peters could do it, perhaps this might work.
  18. Any of you remember possibly the most OFFENSIVE lineman the Bills ever had, "dangerous" Dan McGrew? Starting center on the earliest Bills teams who was as likely to snap the ball over the punters head as put it in his hands. You prayed every time DDM snapped.
  19. Absolutely agree.
