He looks very tight and appears to be thinking "I need to do it this way." It't not natural and his balls can go anywhere (even to receivers at times). Of course, he has never been a consistently solid passer, especially on out patterns. Cinci knew they needed a new quarterback. We need to see if things improve as the season progresses and should to be prepared to seriously look at whats available in the offseason if it becomes necessary.

You left out an interesting prospect. If Wisconsin gets its act together it will most likely be because Dan O'Brian has a season like he did his first year at Maryland (before Randy what's his name messed him up). The kid may not come out this year but he's worth watching.

Pure and simple, this team was not ready to play. All facets, except for CJ, were mediocre. That's on the coaching staff. Also on the coaching staff is continuing to play a perpetual loser like McKelvin. I wouldn't expect him to make a smart play because he isn't. But this so called great athlete needs to do more than wave his hands at passes after they've been caught because he was clueless in coverage. He must know something about the coach that no one else knows. I'm willing to give Fitz one more chance (again). Opening half jitters are somewhat understandable when you played very little in preseason. But he was terrible and probably should have been on the bench early in the second half.

The question remains, why is McKelvin allowed to do anything other than return kicks. He remains totally clueless on defense but because he's always referred to as "athletic" he seems to stick around. My club has athletes; why can't they make the big bucks? Our D must stand for Dareus. He appreared to be the only one playing.

Grevey is there merely to make money off Bills fans. He has no connection to the city. When we were there for one of the Bills Super Bowl games, getting there early to get good sight lines, his employees who were not working that day turned the TV we were watching away from us so their table could see it better. My wife complained and moved in front of their table to be able to see, she was told to move or she'd have to leave. I told Kevin Grevey about this following the game and he blew me off. If you're a Bills fan, you have better options.
