  1. With very few exceptions, quarterbacks drafted in late rounds never have any impact. Lately, that's been the case with backers drafted in the middle rounds and frequently in the early rounds as well. So why waste a pick when there are late round options at other positions that amount to a slightly less possibility of a wasted pick?
  2. What games were you watching? I saw no fire and no command.
  3. Anything to brighten the Falls wasteland. Went to the casino on the US side one night a few years ago and thought the downtown area literally appeared wasted. A stadium would likely come "cheap" there. Tear all those abandoned buildings down and bring in something that would pump some money, from both sides of the border, into the area.
  4. What makes you think Hyde lasts a ways into the third round?
  5. No, quarterback competition. Anyone sold on EJ has a wishful thinking streak to overcome.
  6. First round pick better be one.
  7. Something may well have been cooking all along. Wilson just wasn't talking.
  8. When it comes down to it, he may be better than EJ. We need a quarterback.
  9. Simplistic "analysis" as you can get.
  10. Teams move whether they sell out or not; ask Baltimore Colts fans. It's all about making money and who will give you the best deal. There are some owners who truly care about the community. In the environs of Buffalo, the monied potential in this regard is there: Pegula, Golisano, Kelly et al, Jacobs, Rich, Wegmans, and others. Hopefully, one or some combination thereof can get it done. I'm not sure if Goodell being originally from Buffalo hurts or helps, if he cares about the city. Acting like a "homer" could be perceived as politically incorrect. So, perhaps, don't go there.
  11. Get a quarterback. EJ is not the one.
  12. The guy's an insensitive fool. If he had written it for the News, which would've been the height of idiocy, he wouldn't be around long, one way or another.
  13. Might be nice to honor Wilson by putting the Bills on MNF for a change.
  14. You left out the part about Donohoe being bowled over during his Gregg Williams interview. Gregg, however, forgot to tell him he'd be hiring a staff composed primarily of college football no-nothings.
  15. Good idea. Redskins and Steelers used to have controlled, pre-exhibition game scrimmages. It worked out well until Snyder moved the camp out of the vicinity of the Steelers' camp. This appears to be a stop beyond that.
  16. This has been attempted and failed miserably. What you're talking about is minor league football. Perhaps there's a flag football game in the neighborhood.
  17. Correct. Snyder was not the highest bidder for the Redskins.
  18. Which means he may a back-up?
  19. Hopefully, Ralph has taken care of Bills fans as much as he has his daughters. In the meantime, this is a profound loss.
  20. We wouldn't be on this board if it wasn't for Mr. Wilson. Rest peacefully Ralph and thank you.
  21. You win games on the lines. Our OL has holes. Simple as that. No need to be glamorous with your first round pick; be practical, win games, and hold the draft day headlines. The weapons won't shoot unless you have a good line in front of them. OJ was never outstanding until he ran behind the Electric Company.
