  1. A robot would likely grade out very well, unless it had a loose wire.
  2. Why would a retired scout not want his name used unless he's afraid of embarrassing himself or not who he supposedly is? Furthermore, why is a retired scout watching "every game" as he puts it, if he's no longer scouting?
  3. Bring on competition! Not sold on what we have at QB by a long shot.
  4. Everything aside, very little positive occurs unless EJ improves. It's the bottom line moreso than just about anything else.
  5. The clip is interesting but most of the passes were to wide open receivers. Also, he was under little pressure, which doesn't tell you as much about him as it does his offensive line. In any case, hope he makes it to camp. Competition for EJ is a big plus, especially if you're not sold on EJ.
  6. If the Jameis's of the world were to get paid by their schools to play sports, how many think they'd use the money on crab legs? The only good thing about "pay to play college sports" is that such guys would finally be defined as what they basically are, employees of the university instead of "student" athletes. It's a sad commentary when you hear, as I did recently from someone who went to Miami on a football scholarship, that when he arrived at school he was told what his major would be and what basket weaving courses he'd be taking.
  7. You're being too kind to Dave.
  8. Spiller and Freddie may both be gone.
  9. The Bills biggest need is not a defensive end, it's a productive quarterback. All this talk about commitment to EJ; would you say otherwise when you hope he'll succeed? I hope I'm wrong but have significant doubts about EJ. We should have gone after Murray. With no number one next year, hopefully there will be some decent free agent QBs available if EJ doesn't show more promise than he has thus far. Or Whaley may have something else up his sleeve.
  10. There was a breath of fresh air until this thread commenced.
  11. We have 3 tight ends with NFL experience, including our leading receiver from last season. Get off it already
  12. Would have loved to have Murray. If we sink with EJ, which is very likely, and have no number one pick next draft, we're in big trouble unless we sign a big money free agent for next year.
  13. If he's quit the stuff and is committed, why was he using as recently as the combine?
  14. Pretty good. Don't keep two kickers (keep a special teams stud instead). One of the receivers, O linemen, and running backs may go. Goodwin returns punts.
  15. CJ's value to the Bills may have increased exponentially with the OL seemingly fixed. He may well have his career season if kept around. The flip side, of course, is that as a free agent he may well be gone after this season. The Bills game plan clearly is "the future is now." That being the case, you probably keep CJ. Freddie's trade value is minimal because of his age. But if someone is in dire need of a back who can likely come in and produce immediately, age notwithstanding, trade Freddie and add more draft picks for next year (love to get that number 1 back and I'm sure Whaley is working on it).
  16. When will the league acknowledge that pulling out extensions is a tackle?
  17. Because he may be gone after one year. Also, ever hear of injuries?
